2004 Sunshine West Showcase
WP - Andrew Breen is a 2005 LHP/OF from Fort Collins, CO. At 6 foot tall and 160 pounds, Breen showed an aggressive swing with more pop in his bat than we expected. He can get the wood through the zone quickly and has a productive, short and compact swing. He showed good OF actions and nice body control. We think he will make a good College outfielder. On the hill he was equally impressive with a fluid arm action from a ¾ slot delivering 80-82mph fastballs with nice control and 2 effective off-speed pitches. The fastball alone was a good pitch that had hitters missing.
