Declan Williams is a 2031 C/RHP/IF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Nolensville, TN who attends Nolensville. Medium frame with a sturdy look, wiry strength and all sorts of time to add and refine. Ran the 60 yard dash in 8.04 seconds. Primary position catcher, working from a right knee down stance and gaining ground nicely in transition to throw. Clean midline transfer to short arm stroke, creating accurate feeds to the bag. Emerging arm strength but quick release producing throws up to 66 mph with a pop time best 2.12 seconds. RHH using a wider and slightly open stance with a higher handset, turned in pre-pitch. Quiet controlled leg lift working the hands from high to low and working rotationally to contact. Middle of the field approach works here and the power stroke is emerging.
