Owen Hart is a 2029 RHP/OF with a 5-11 179 lb. frame from Point Pleasant, NJ who attends Point Pleasant Borough. Lean medium square shouldered athletic build with lots of growing ahead of him. Primary right handed potential with plenty of two-way potential. Works from an abbreviated wind up with good lower half actions down the mound, loose and fast arm action with very good extension out front. Fastball topped out at 88 mph and got on hitters quickly with occasional cutting action. Change up was his best secondary pitch with good arm speed and fade, also threw a short low 70's slider. Dominant outing. 5.07 runner in the forty. Attacked the ball aggressively in the outfield and got rushed and out of control at times, 3/4's arm slot with good carry on his throws, will continue to improve with refined fundamentals. Right handed hitter, sets up in a slightly open stance with an early shift to his front side, simple stride in, has bat speed and barrel whip, mostly pull side contact with hard impact off the barrel. Good student. Named to the PG Northeast Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
