Jarvis Buchanan Jr is a 2026 OF/RHP/MIF with a 5-9 137 lb. frame from Fort Worth, TX who attends Lake Ridge. Buchanan Jr works from a young projectable build with plenty of room to fill out and add strength in the future as a '26 prospect. Starting from his primary OF spot, he showcased the ability to get behind the ball with a compact arm action to release quickly and on target. As the footwork refines and he physically develops, expect the arm strength to increase. Topped out at 76 mph. From the IF, Buchanan Jr successfully changed arm slots when needed and displayed range up the middle. On the mound, the righty pitched to contact effectively using a 3/4 slot and mixing a bigger shaped 12-6 breaker. Offensively, he started from a wider open stance with a high hand set and evident barrel control to produce contact to all parts of the field. He performed well in game on both sides of the ball. Posted an 83 mph exit velo. Ran a 6.95 sixty yard dash. Named to Top Prospect List.
