Ryan Herrera is a 2023 2B/3B, SS, OF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Northridge, CA who attends Chatsworth. Athletic medium built utility man that showed well from multiple spots defensively. In the infield, he shows proper glove technique with above average lateral movements. The throws were delivered on time with quicker arm action and moderate carry. In the outfield, he works quickly to the baseball with solid glove work and clean exchange. The throws showed solid carry with one hop accuracy. At the dish, he sets up with wide spread base and short compact delivery of the barrel. There's bat speed present with feel to gain quality extension. The approach is geared toward the pull side with some thump that direction. The strength in the hands is apparent. 6.85 60 yard. Outstanding student.
