Brayden Mitchell is a 2024 3B/RHP with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from Erie, ND who attends Central Cass. Medium build. In the infield, he waits back on the ball but secures the routine play. The release is over the top with decent strength and carry as well as some accuracy. At the plate, he set up in an open stance working into a coiling load. The barrel is whippy through the zone with big strength to the pull side. Path works uphill to impact and lets the power play in the air. On the mound, the delivery works with moderate lift. The arm stroke is fluid with short take back and releasing out of a high three-quarters lot. The fastball shows occasional arm side run and lived around the zone. The breaking ball was inconsistently spun but featured decent depth. Pounded the zone late in the game. 5.22 40-yard. Excellent student.
