PG Grade: 9
Wright is not big in size, but he is very large on talent. He's a plus runner who can swing the bat. He shows a quick strong swing and gets a lot of back spin on the ball. Might even end up hitting with power. Wesley is best known as a LHP. We've seen him throw 90 and he was 88 in early January. He throws a sharp breaking ball and has good stuff. His command could improve with a little quieter delivery, but he's got a big time arm. He will pitch at the next level, but we hope he gets to play a position. Good athletes who can run, hit and throw create lots of interest. He has as high if not higher ceiling playing the outfield than as a LHP. Either way, he has outstanding talent.
