Connor Monahan is a 2026 RHP/MIF with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Anchorage, AK who attends Service. Young, lean build with a lot of room to continue adding strength. Ran a 8.54 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, stretch only delivery, belt high leg lift, short and compact arm action in the back, low effort delivery. Pounded the zone with a two pitch mix, young arm speed, ran the fastball into the low-70s, up to 73 mph (1912 RPM). Curveball with bigger shape got up to 60 mph (1850 RPM). Right-handed hitter, narrow base, flat barrel start with young bat speed, direct barrel path. Middle of the field approach, hit liners all over the field. Secondary middle infielder, young actions and movements on the dirt, two hand funnel out front, clean exchange and gets the ball out of the hand quickly, accurate throws across with developing arm strength, recorded throws up to 73 mph. Also worked out in the outfield, step by step movements getting to the ball, two hand funnel, lower slot release point, same arm strength we saw in the infield, recorded throws up to 69 mph. Tremendous student.
