Douglas Shribman is a 2007 RHP/1B/OF from Belmont Hill HS in Marblehead, Massachusetts, with a tall, solid 6'3"/210 pound frame. Douglas was named to the Top Prospect Team. On the mound, he pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with minimal effort. Shribman has a balanced delivery and gets good leverage. Douglas gets good sink on his 85 mph fastball and the ball jumps out of his hand. He has a very live arm and had 5 strikeouts in 3 game innings. Shribman is a right handed hitter that hits from a tall and upright stance. He hits from a wide base and has excellent raw power. Douglas also has good footwork and smooth actions at first base and he can pick it.
