Chase Dutton is a 2027 C/RHP, 3B with a 6-2 155 lb. frame from Muskegon, MI who attends Oakridge High School. Tall frame with a physical build. Right-handed hitter, high hands and back elbow, set in loaded position, linear barrel path through the zone with good bat speed and strength off the barrel. Creates extension out front with backspin off the barrel. Super simple swing and strength stands out. Primary catcher, high staggered feet setup, stands up out of the crouch, short arm action and has ability to get it out of the glove quickly, shuffles into throws, lower arm slot, young arm strength and actions overall, recorded throws up to 63 mph and a pop-time of 2.34. Ran a 7.79 60-yard dash. Secondary right-handed pitcher, full windup, side step into a short lift, compact arm action to a lower slot release point. Fastball plays true in the low-70s (1802 RPM) and got up to 72 mph. Curveball has big shape, up to 60 mph (1956 RPM). Excellent student. Named to 2023 14u Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.
