Kenny Belzer is a 2008 1B/3B/P with a 6'3'', 200 lb. frame from Alpine, CA, who attends Granite Hills HS. Belzer has a good frame with a trim waist, and he is very projectable. Defensively he has good actions at first base showing soft hands and a good glove. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from an upright stance with an average base. He uses a toe tap trigger with a no load approach. Belzer has a line drive swing plane, and he centers the ball well. He stays balanced through his swing, and he stays short to the ball. He also has projectable power. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with nice arm action. He has a loose arm with arm speed. Belzer has a balanced delivery that is deceptive. He pitches from the stretch and he gets life on his fastball that topped out at 82 mph. Belzer has projectable velocity. He has upside, to his overall game, and he is a good student as well.
