Caleb Johns is a 2026 RHP/IF with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from New Berlin, WI who attends New Berlin Eisenhower. Tall, large build with well-proportioned strength present and some projection remaining. Primary right-handed pitcher, operates from an abbreviated wind-up delivery with a coiled leg lift up to the core. Separates into a longer and full arm path before accelerating into a three-quarters arm angle. Generates good drive off the rubber and carries his momentum well down the slope. Fastball showed arm-side run with some carry through the zone, ultimately peaking at 89 mph. Mixed in a late-breaking curveball with nice depth and spin up to 2555 rpm as well as a harder slider with 10-4 sweeping traits to it and a similar spin rate. Showed a changeup with good fading action to complete his mix. Offers plenty of projection and upside as an arm. Secondary infielder, took efficient routes to the baseball and worked through it well. Showcased the ability to cover ground and get to his spots. Funnels the ball cleanly up the middle. Tends to stab at the ball when fielding it to his backhand. Delivered accurate throws across the diamond while recording arm strength up to 85 mph. Left-handed hitter, starts in an even stance with a high hand set-up and high back elbow. Utilizes a quick turn to the point of contact before working into a line drive stroke. Rotates the hips with intent and creates good whip to the barrel. Produced consistently loud contact with leverage to the pull-side and middle of the field during batting practice. Has plenty of evident strength in the hands with more power to project on moving forward. Posted an exit velocity of 92 mph. Ran a 4.86 forty-yard dash. Named to the 2025 Iowa Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
