KC Fall Softball Scouting Combine Afternoon Session
Erika Brokovich is a 5'6, class of 2023, OF from Walford, IA who attends Prairie HS. Erika is a veteran, upper class player who shows steady ability and a calm approach in all areas of her game. She ran a 3.34 20-yard dash with a 1.23 5-yard split. A primary outfielder, Erika shows routine footwork and positions with confidence. Her glovework plays and she transitions to throw well. Her 50-mph throws are fairly accurate. At the plate, Erika starts with a closed stance and appears to have a very balanced approach. Her strength is obvious. Her path to contact is short and direct. She has noticeable pull side power. Outstanding bat-to-ball ability. Erika has a solid and comfortable style that plays well. She appears mature in and with all her abilities on the diamond. Should she continue to develop her already fundamentally sound game, she may have the chance to play at the next level. Solid, Steady, Sure. Plus effort level! Promising future.
