Liam Skeen is a 2028 RHP/SS with a 6-0 174 lb. frame from Big Stone Gap, VA who attends Union. Medium athletic frame with big time arm speed. Fastball has elite carry with life through the glove. Athletic delivery with great extension.low release height type. Wiry athlete with arm speed. Slider shows hard two plane break off the fastball plane, decent tunnel to both off speed pitches. Curveball comes out softer with similar tilt. Good depth to the offering. Future power arm.Commanding the zone and showing great feel to sequence. Landed the breaking ball for strikes to the inner third and could also bite away. High quality fastball. Showed well in the outfield as well with clean footwork and strong arm that played accurate to both bases. Right-handed hitter, narrow upright stance, with moderate stride. Load creates good separation. Level path with big forward weight shift. Struggled to consistently time it up but impacted a few through the opposite field gap. 7.45 60-yard. Excellent student. Selected to the 2024 14U Select Festival.
