2019 Top Prospects

Ryan Suppa  RHP - 2019 - Acworth, GA
Columbus State/Georgia Highlands

Suppa is a very high level two-way prospect at shortstop and on the mound. He topped out at 91 mph from a smooth and repeatable delivery and showed the same type of plus arm strength at shortstop as well. Suppa's right handed bat is one of his best tools and he has Division I level bat speed with more to come.

Jarel Jay Watson  OF - 2019 - Stone Mountain, GA
Jackson State

Watson can fly and his 6.49 sixty was the best of the event. He's not a one tool player, though, as he showed some real bat speed and barrel whip from the right side and projects well as a hitter as he gets stronger.

Christian Webb  C - 2019 - Stonemountain, GA
Louisiana State University, Shreveport/Seminole State College of Florida

Webb stood out defensively and athletically. He ran a 6.76 in the sixty and even showed next level athleticism and actions in the infield in drills. Behind the plate he was very quick, with polished footwork and lots of arm strength, posting a best pop time of 1.87.

Carter Gannaway  RHP - 2019 - Decatur, AL
Central Alabama CC

Gannaway has a broad shouldered 6-2/210 build with a strong lower half and a very easy, low effort arm action. He was up to 87 mph on his fastball and showed a polished three-pitch mix with a slider and change up, with his slider being his best out pitch.

Marcerio Allen  SS - 2019 - Dacula, GA
Southern Wesleyan University/Seminole State College

Allen is a very athletic middle infielder with 6.84 speed and plenty of raw arm strength from multiple arm slots. He's also a switch-hitter who showed nice bat speed and an aggressive approach during BP, although he tended to take a more contact oriented approach in games.

Jacob Atha  RHP - 2019 - Fayetteville, GA
Georgia Highlands

Atha has a very projectable 6-3/175 build and two present pitches he can throw for strikes and get outs with in a 85 mph fastball and a mid-70's curveball. The curveball was his best pitch this outing, with a hard and sharp bite and swing and miss potential.

Ethan Rosenberg  C - 2019 - Leander, TX
Uncommitted

Rosenberg stood out for his defensively versatility and overall arm strength. He was very solid both behind the plate catching and at third base defensively, including throwing 80 mph with a 1.95 pop time. He's also been up to 85 on the mound this summer. Rosenberg is a switch-hitter on offense with a stronger right handed swing at present.

Charlie Goldstein  LHP - 2019 - Alpharetta, GA
Georgia

Goldstein is a three-pitch left hander with very good feel and consistency for all three of his offerings. He maintains his velocity very well up to 84 mph and uses a deceptive 73 mph change up as his swing and miss pitch off his fastball. His curveball is big and thrown for strikes as well.

Brady Barnes  RHP - 2019 - Decatur, AL
Chattahoochee Valley CC

Barnes has a lively athletic 6-0/165 build and a quick right arm that produced a steady mid-80's fastball that topped out at 86 mph. He tends to slow his arm on his secondary pitches at present but he throws strikes with them and flashes potential when he lets them go.

Luke Davis  RHP - 2019 - Seale, AL
Samford

Davis has a big and strong 6-4/195 body and good athleticism and mechanics on the mound. He was up to 85 mph with his fastball to go with a big sweeping curveball and threw strikes to spots with both pitches.

Benjamin Olson  C - 2019 - Acworth, GA
Mercer/Georgia Highlands

Olson has solid defensive tools and skills behind the plate but stood out the most on offense. He has a strong right handed swing and a nice fundamental approach that produced consistent hard line drive contact.

Landon Rascoe  RHP - 2019 - Hattiesburg, MS
Jones College

Rascoe showed nice two-way potential. He's a primary pitcher who was up to 85 mph on the mound with a solid curveball and good command of both pitches, but he also showed an aggressive right handed swing with lots of raw bat speed. His infield arm strength was also prospect level.

Langston Taylor  3B - 2019 - Jackson, GA
North Carolina A&T/Florence-Darlington Technical College

Taylor has a big and strong build and good overall athleticism. He played both infield and outfield and showed lots of arm strength from both positions and his right handed swing flashed bat speed when he looked to drive the ball instead of steer it.

Drew DeMasi  C - 2019 - Lilburn, GA
LaGrange College

DeMasi played every position on the field but outfield during drills and games and could undoubtedly do that as well. He saved some of his best work for the batter's box, where he has an aggressive right handed swing and lots of power potential.

2020 Top Prospects

Ty Floyd  RHP - 2020 - Rockmart, GA
Louisiana State

Floyd has an athletic 6-2/180 build for his age and plenty of different tools and skills on the field. He's a 7.10 runner with quick actions and good hands in the middle infield to go with a good bat speed from a loose right handed swing. He was also up to 85 on the mound and has been up to 87 in the past.

John Anderson  2B - 2020 - Suwanee, GA
Samford

Anderson is a good athlete with solid second base tools on defense and some arm strength for the position but his big tool is his bat. He has very good right handed bat speed with an aggressive approach and consistent hard line drive contact.

Corbin Shaw  3B - 2020 - Stone Mountain, GA
Walters State CC

The 6-1/200 right handed hitting Shaw had some of the best raw power at the event. The ball explodes off his bat with big jump and it's a straight power approach that is going to maximize what he's trying to do at the plate.

Hunter Lautzenheiser  OF - 2020 - Gallatin, TN
Western Kentucky

Lautzenhaiser has an extra big and strong body for a 2020 and that shows well in his offensive approach and bat speed. He has a strong and fundamentally simple left handed swing with good lower half use and a level, line drive swing that can drive the ball hard.

Nate Shipley  OF - 2020 - Marietta, GA
Georgia Highlands

Shipley has a very projectable 6-2/160 build and a right handed swing that produces lots of leverage and lift. He fills out and gets strong over the next few years, he has a chance to be a next level power hitter.

Ben Schorr  C - 2020 - Columbus, GA
Auburn

Schorr is a very polished young athlete on both sides of the ball. He receives the ball smoothly behind the plate with a quick exchange and solid arm strength, while his right handed bat is quick and strong through the zone.

Hunter Bryson  OF - 2020 - Charlotte, NC
Appalachian State/Florence-Darlington Technical College

Bryson is a 6.78 with quick and sound work in the middle infield and enough projectable arm strength to stay in the middle of the field. His right handed swing also showed his quick athleticism.

Dylan Dickert  RHP - 2020 - Knoxville, TN
Wallace CC-Dothan

Dickert has a loose and projectable 6-1/170 pound build that should fill out nicely as he matures physically. He was up to 85 mph on his fastball with lots of running life from an extended 3/4's arm slot and challenged hitters consistently in the strike zone.

Collin Caldwell  LHP - 2020 - Powder Springs, GA
Georgia

Caldwell has a very deceptive fast paced delivery and throws from multiple arm angles down to sidearm at times. He topped out at 85 mph on his fastball and the ball got on hitters quickly and effectively.

Drew Mason  C - 2020 - Spartanburg, SC
Uncommitted

Mason has a nice combination of running speed at 6.94 and bat speed at the plate, along with the ability to square up the ball consistently with occasional lift. His catching actions were young but were athletic and consistent and should continue to improve.

Matthew Peak  OF - 2020 - Franklin, TN
Uncommitted

Peak is a projectable young outfielder who good present athleticism and the chance to really keep improving as he gets stronger. He ran a 6.79 and showed good left handed bat speed and a good feel for the barrel.

Mason Patel  RHP - 2020 - Knoxville, TN
Georgia Tech

Patel has an athletic 6-1/175 frame that projects well and a smooth and easy arm action from an extended 3/4's arm slot. He worked up to 84 mph with his fastball, with more velocity there in the future, and showed a mature ability to spin a curveball along with good arm speed on a change up.

2021 Top Prospects

Sean Smith  1B - 2021 - Pascagoula, MS
Georgia Southern/Mississippi Gulf Coast CC

Smith has a big and strong build for a 2021 and a very loose and extended swing that shows easy plus power potential and the ability to drive the ball right now. If he's able to firm up his body and keep getting stronger, watch out.

Hunter Sute  C - 2021 - Tuscaloosa, AL
Alabama

Sute played all over the field defensively but his best position was in the left handed batter's box. He has a strong present swing with good bat speed and a present ability to drive the ball and even pull it with hard top spin. His hitting tools definitely have a chance to play.
