Delaware State

Owner of one of the smoothest line drives swings on display at the event, Henry Jr. shows above average bat speed and power potential. Henry also impressed with his speed and athleticism, running a 4.81 40 yard dash

Liam O'Regan  OF - 2015 - Middletown, RI
Elon

A potent righty hitter with power to all fields, O'Regan showed a repeatable swing path that will translate well at the next level. He also shows a sound game action approach. He also threw 80 mph from behind the plate and 86 mph from the outfield.

Miles Michnowicz  RHP - 2015 - Bala Cynwyd, PA
Cumberland County College

Michnowicz showed a loose and quick arm action during his time on the mound, topping out at 87 mph with fastball and projects for more as he continues to fill out his athletic 6-foot-3 frame. He showed sharp bite on his slider with 10-4 shape at 79 mph.

Matthew Santos  SS - 2015 - Ozone Park, NY

An athletic defender, Santos impressed at shortstop and threw 82 mph across the diamond, At the plate, he works from a very simple approach and flashes good power potential. He stays short to the ball and has refined swing mechanics.

Andy Karlan  C - 2015 - Larchmont, NY
Palm Beach State

Impressing both behind the plate and at it, Karlan had a strong showing in every way at this event. He posted one of the top catcher pop times at 1.97 seconds. At the plate, he showed impressive power and a compact, quick swing path.


2016 Top Prospects

Joe Rizzo  3B - 2016 - Oak Hill, VA
South Carolina

Rizzo stood out during the showcase on both sides of the ball, throwing an event best 90 mph across the diamond. With a strong, physical build, the South Carolina commit created hard contact both in batting practice and against live pitching showing off big bat speed from the left side.

Erikson Nichols  SS - 2016 - Oradell, NJ
Duke

Standing 6-foot-3, 190-pounds, Nichols is a long limbed athlete who moves well in the infield and shows a short and easy arm action across the diamond, topping at 84 mph with his top throw. He gets the barrel of the bat to the ball consistently against live pitching, creating loud contact coming off.

Marc Bisogno  RHP - 2016 - Staten Island, NY
Fordham

Bisogno showed a loose, full arm action coming through the back side with nice extension out front, topping at 87 mph with his fastball. The pitch shows late and heavy life down in the zone to both sides of the plate and did well commanding both secondary pitches.

Mike Nocchi  RHP - 2016 - Wall, NJ

A live armed righty, Nocchi topped out at 85 mph throwing from a compact thee-quarter arm action with impressive life down in the zone. His curveball also shows 11-5 shape and depth, and the strongly built righty also showed a hard, late breaking slider down in the zone.

Angelo Baez  SS - 2016 - Bronx, NY
St. Thomas Aquinas

An athletic infield with an above average raw arm, Baez posted the top infield velocity with his 84 mph showing. Baez also showed good bat speed from the right side and did a good job of stays consistent short to the baseball.

Bruce Pattishall  RHP - 2016 - Silver Spring, MD
Harford CC

Throwing from an over the top arm slot, Pattishall worked in the 81-84 mph range with his fastball, generating downhill plane to both side of the plate while missing bats with the pitch. His curveball showed tight 11-5 spin and he did a nice job of mixing both pitches for strikes.

Dwayne Thomas  1B - 2016 - Silver Spring, MD

After showing off impressive arm strength and actions at first base, the powerfully built Thomas opened eyes with his powerful righty swing. He has easy life off his barrel and stays compact to the ball. His power plays to all fields and the sound is impressive off the bat.


2017 Top Prospects

Christopher Holcomb  LHP - 2017 - Osterville, MA
Tulane

Standing at 6-foot-4, the left-handed Holcomb continues to gain velocity each time we see him as he topped out at 86 mph this event and continues to project well. Showing a feel for three pitches in the strike zone, Holcomb did a nice job of commanding both his curveball and changeup in the strike zone.

Vinnie Martin  OF - 2017 - Lodi, NJ
Massachusetts at Lowell

A balanced, powerful left-handed hitter, Martin stays compact to the baseball and shows above average bat speed. Martin is also a high upside defender player with a strong throwing arm. He threw 85 mph from the outfield.

Anthony Elefante  OF - 2017 - Forked River, NJ

After an impressive showing from the right side of the plate in game action, Elefante stood out in a big way on the mound. He worked at 82-85 mph with his fastball and flashed a tight, late biting curveball that he spotted to both sides of the plate.

Peter Theodorellis  OF - 2017 - Commack, NY
Molloy College

Theodorellis began the day by showing well in the outfield, showing a short and quick arm action with strength and carry while moving well to the ball. He then jumped on the mound and lived in the 80-84 mph with a sharp 11-5 curveball that featured late depth at 75 mph.

Johnny Tuccillo  C - 2017 - Clinton Corners, NY
Stony Brook

Tuccillo showed off impressive catching actions and posted a showcase best 1.90 pop time in the workout. He also showed a sound line drive approach at the plate with solid pull side power.

Joe Volpe  3B - 2017 - Sea Girt, NJ
Dickinson College

Volpe did not get cheated on any of his swings and produced consistent booming contact to all fields. He barrels the ball consistently and has above average bat speed. He also threw 83 mph across the infield.


2018 Top Prospects

Salvatore Monticciolo  1B - 2018 - Holmdel, NJ
Fairleigh Dickinson

A slugging lefty swinging first baseman in the making, Monticciolo is advanced beyond his years at the plate both physically and in terms of approach. He has natural lift in his swing and easy life off the barrel. He also touched 78 mph on the mound.

Anthony Galason  OF - 2018 - Colts Neck, NJ
Elon

A powerful young hitter, Galason shows very intriguing upside at the plate. He knows how to lift the ball and shows power potential to his pull side. His bat speed also stood out and he should continue improving.

Dillon Lifrieri  OF - 2018 - Wilton, CT
Arkansas

One of the event's youngest players, Lifieri showed both athleticism and offensive upside. He threw 84 mph from the outfield and ran a 5.15 40 yard dash. He also showed a line drive stroke with impressive bat speed.
