Lighting up the radar guns at 86-88 mph with his fastball, he settled a little lower velocity wise but showed he was capable of dominance. His mid 70s curveball was a swing and miss, above average offering.

Working at 90-92 mph with his fastball, Agosto never dipped below 89 mph in his outing. He flashed potential with a sharp slider, a curveball with good depth, and a big fading changeup at 79-81 mph. His extra large 6-foot-4, 274 pound frame is an imposing presence on the mound.

The righty's 90-94 mph fastball was the standout velocity of the event, but his ability goes beyond just his fastball. He repeats his delivery and shows an ability to locate a breaking ball.
