Sebastian Martinez
C - 2020 - Orlando, FL
Quincy
Martinez is a physical lefthanded hitting catcher and he impressed both behind the plate and from an offensive standpoint over the weekend. Martinez has fairly low effort mechanics with a quick and easy release from the plate resulting in 79 mph throws from the backstop while the offensive tools were loud with good bat speed and loft to the pull side to project for some power.
Ben Maskin
1B - 2020 - Tampa, FL
Uncommitted
Maskin showed one of the better offensive ceilings of the showcase as the long-limbed, 6-foot-4 and 215-pound hitter has a lot of tools to work with offensively. He creates natural leverage due to his size with pretty advanced bat speed and impact with tons of backspin and carry to the pull side. The power is both present and projects for even more in the near future.
Geomar Santana
C - 2020 - Vega Baja, PR
Clarendon College
Santana showed off some of the better catch-and-throw tools in the entire event with a strong arm recorded up to 80 mph and a best pop time of 1.83 seconds. He's a fairly good athlete for a backstop, turned in a 7.00 second 60-yard dash time, and the offensive profile is strength-based with a clean swing and some impact off the barrel.
John Dominguez Jr
OF - 2020 - Punta Gorda, FL
Mississippi Valley State
Dominguez Jr is an athletic outfielder who turned in the top recorded outfield velocity of the event with a strong arm that was up to 90 mph. The frame projects nicely with athletic actions in the outfield and the swing is fairly impressive too with loose and quick hands and a clean, projectable swing path that portends future power.
Grant Trautweiler
LHP - 2020 - Bradenton, FL
Uncommitted
Trautweiler is a physically built lefthanded pitcher who showed an impressive combination of fastball-curveball that led to success over the weekend. He creates angle from a higher slot on his fastball that topped out at 84 mph while also mixing in a very hard breaking curveball with 12/6 shape that he could both garner chases and land for strikes.
Omar Sanchez
LHP - 2020 - Juncos, PR
Florida Southwestern State College
Sanchez is a well-built lefthanded pitcher going to Florida Southwestern and he impressed running his fastball up to 84 mph with a good amount of run and sink to the offering. He drives down the mound well and creates some deception on his offerings while his primary secondary pitch was a tight spinning 12/6 curveball that projects nicely.
Carlos Herrera
MIF - 2020 - Miami, FL
Uncommitted
Herrera showed some well-rounded tools on both sides of the ball as the uncommitted senior showed out well with the glove and with the stick. Herrera has strength to his hands and wrists as he whips them through the hitting zone with some impressive bat speed and impacts the ball while he has comfort over at shortstop with good hands on either side of the ball.
Jean Diaz
C - 2020 - San Juan, PR
Catawba Valley CC
Diaz had a good showing at the event this weekend, showing tremendous strength in all aspects of his game. From a defensive standpoint, he's got pretty pure catch and throw abilities with a strong arm and a best pop time recorded of 1.87 seconds. There's some present pull side pop too with good impact when he gets his wrists extended.
Lucas Lorenzo
SS - 2020 - Tallahassee, FL
Uncommitted
Lorenzo is an intriguing uncommitted 2020 with a projectable 6-foot-3, 180-pound frame and some wiry strength throughout. The bat speed and obvious impact from an offensive standpoint are notable while there's big upside on the mound as he showed a lot of life on the fastball that was up to 84 mph to go along with effective secondaries.
Parker Pre-Genzer
LHP - 2020 - Fort Myers, FL
Uncommitted
Pre-Genzer is a deceptive lefthanded pitcher with good pitchability and feel for a four-pitch arsenal on the mound. He ran his fastball up to 80 mph but showed four pitches that he could land for strikes highlighted by a swing-and-miss slider. He hides the ball and strides crossfired which allows his stuff to play up while still throwing strikes.
Mason Janz
OF - 2021 - Palmetto, FL
Northwest Florida State College
Janz is a very quick-twitched outfielder and it showed in some of his metrics with his outfield throws up to 89 mph and a top 60-yard dash time of 6.75 seconds. There's plenty of athleticism to the overall profile and the arm strength/speed combination makes him a capable defender at the next level.
Jason L'Etoile
RHP - 2021 - Lake Worth, FL
Gardner-Webb
L'Etolle is a big, physical first baseman at a listed 6-foot-2 and 200-pounds with strength that aids his game in most every facet on the field. He has a strong arm from the outfield, his secondary position, where he was recorded up to 88 mph and from an offensive standpoint the bat speed, balance, impact strength, and leverage all indicate a high end power bat at the next level.
Harrison Povey
RHP - 2021 - Indian Rocks Beach, FL
Florida Gulf Coast
Povey is an intriguing two-way prospect with an uber-projectable and athletic 6-foot-4, 175-pound frame. As a primary pitcher, he ran his fastball up to 84 mph with a pretty well-synced delivery especially through the lower half, while he's a true two-way prospect as he shows a lot of lanky leverage in his stroke with some impact to the pull side.
Coy Moore
OF - 2021 - St Cloud, FL
Daytona State College
Moore is a good looking prospect with an athletic and projectable 6-foot, 170-pound frame and plenty of room to add more. There's wiry strength present as he can run his throws from the outfield up to 85 mph and from an offensive standpoint that path is smooth with some lift as he can work both gaps and projects for additional power.
Holden Wade
LHP - 2021 - Tampa, FL
Florida Southwestern State College
Wade showed a lot of interesting tools coupled with immense projection as the uncommitted southpaw was impressive in his three innings of work. The frame is uber-projectable with good arm speed and looseness while mixing in a sweeping breaking ball, a sharp cutter, and missing a ton of bats within the strike zone.
Juan Jesus Leandro
SS - 2022 - Coral Gables, FL
Uncommitted
Leandro certainly looks the part of a Division I prospect with a projectable 6-foot, 165-pound frame and exceptional skills on both sides. He's a smooth-handed defender at shortstop who is very light on his feet with twitch to his actions. Offensively, he turns the barrel over well with a quick and compact stroke that really projects for some power with good whip and fluidity throughout.
Andrew Hunt
RHP - 2022 - Tampa, FL
Uncommitted
Hunt has a prototypical front line pitcher's build at a listed 6-foot-4, 188-pounds and has a loose, easy arm stroke that allowed him to run his fastball up to 83 mph. He gets nice cutting action on the pitch with a fairly sound mechanical profile. The fastball command and life both standout as the curveball will flash potential and the entire profile projects.
Azais Garza
OF - 2022 - Conroe, TX
Uncommitted
Garza is a very quick twitched athlete who turned in one of the top 60-yard dash times of the entire event as he registered a mark of 6.75 seconds. That athleticism plays well from the outfield, his primary position, as he moves around gracefully while his approach at the plate is a high-contact, efficient approach that allows his wheels to play.
JT Quinn
RHP - 2022 - Tampa, FL
Mississippi
Quinn has excellent size for a young righthander, listed at 6-foot-3 and 175-pounds, with good physical projection, a loose arm stroke, and pounded the strike zone. The fastball comes out well and topped out at 83 mph while he gets downhill and pounded the knees. The breaking ball was a solid offering and Quinn really projects moving forward.
Fernando Hernandez
C - 2022 - Orlando, FL
Bethune-Cookman
Hernandez is a fairly polished and well-rounded prospect for a young player as he showed intriguing tools on both sides of the ball. As a primary catcher, Hernandez posted a sub-2.00 second pop time on the weekend and has some strength at the plate with a clean, projectable swing plane and gets the barrel extended nicely to create impact.
Jordon Smiley
OF - 2022 - Clermont, FL
Uncommitted
Smiley is a good combination of athletic and strong from a prospect perspective as he's a tightly wound 6-foot-1, 185-pounds. He ran a 6.79 second 60-yard dash and moves around well in the outfield while offensively he has a compact and strong righthanded swing with quick hands and a line drive swing plane geared towards the pull side.
Dillon Moquin
OF - 2023 - Coral Springs, FL
Appalachian State
Moquin looks the part of a smooth swinging, lefthanded hitting prospect as the raw hitting tools are impressive and almost assuredly to develop as he does physically. He uncoils at the load nicely and on time to explode onto the ball with advanced bat speed and the natural loft to the plane along with comfort to pull will lead to very projectable raw power.
Airon Reyes
3B - Free Agents - Port St Lucie, PM DOM
Reyes was a standout performer this weekend in his first PG event as the well-built third baseman has a host of tools to impress with. He's a physical prospect at a listed 5-foot-11 and 185-pounds with very good arm strength and outstanding defensive actions. Reyes creates some violent bat speed and barrel whip offensively with big pull side power at present too.
