Dillon Houk
C - 2022 - Liberty, MO
Uncommitted
Houk is already a strong 6-2/195 athlete and is going to keep getting stronger. He was very impressive as a right handed hitter and made very consistent hard pull side contact in the games. He's very comfortable and flexible behind the plate receiving the ball and shows leadership ability as well.
Kaedon Diego Mas
2B - 2022 - Rancho Cucamonga, CA
Uncommitted
Mas is a very polished young middle infielder, as befits his background in Southern California and his freshman school status, and it shows in his actions both defensively and offensively. He slows the game down very well for a 14 year old and lets his tools work for him.
Addison Smith
SS - 2023 - Liberty, MO
Oklahoma State
Smith stood out in all areas at the showcase. He graded out highest in the infield drills, then showed legit switch-hit skills at the plate both in BP and in the games. He threw up to 80 mph on Sunday from the mound with a big sweeping 65 mph curveball and threw strikes with both pitches.
Dondreone Kennedy
SS - 2023 - Fort Worth, TX
Texas
Kennedy is a high level athlete who excelled in all areas of the game, whether it be with his speed, his defense in the middle infield, his right handed swing or with his three-pitch ability on the mound. He'll be a fun player to watch develop over the next few years.
Tate McGuire
RHP - 2023 - Kansas City, MO
Arkansas
McGuire is a very projectable 6-2/160 athlete who is a primary pitcher now but could end up at any number of positions in the future as he develops. He was up to 79 on the mound with a sweeping curveball and solid change up but his right handed bat and power potential stood out as well.
Kyler Spencer
OF - 2023 - Conway, AR
Eastern Oklahoma State College
Spencer really stands out with his athletic, high waisted 6-4/190 build and we understand he's a high level basketball player who already dunks. He has baseball skills as well and his athleticism shines. He was up to 77 mph on the mound with a sound delivery and there is high ceiling potential there.
Jackson Downing
RHP - 2023 - Kansas City, MO
Arkansas State
Downing is a very projectable 5-10/135 athlete who could end up either on the mound or in the middle infield full time. He was up to 79 on the mound with a very good slider and also showed plenty of bat speed at the plate.
Matthew Santana
C - 2023 - St John, IN
Wabash Valley College
Santana is a broad shouldered and strong catcher who was one of the best hitters at the event. Every ball he hit in the games was right on the barrel and generally right at defenders, but the bat speed and barrel skills are there. He has the tools to stay behind the plate, too, especially in his arm strength.
Ryker Edwards
OF - 2023 - Smithville, MO
Johnson County CC
Edwards is a primary right handed pitcher who was up to 75 mph with heavy sinking action and a solid slider and very projectable on the mound. But he also ran a 6.88 sixty, easily the fastest of the event, and was very solid in the middle infield defensively
Colton Wemhoff
OF - 2023 - Gladstone, MO
Kansas
Wemhoff looks like a hitter in the right handed batter's box and he acted like one as well, lacing consistent hard line drives from a comfortable and repeatable approach. He's a very projectable 6-0/160 athlete who was solid in his middle infield defense.
Luke Presko
SS - 2023 - Weatherby Lake, MO
Northwest Missouri State
Presko was solid as a right handed hitting middle infielder but we think his future might be on the mound. He was up to 79 mph with his fastball with a 67 mph slider that was the best breaking ball of the event and he threw strikes with both pitches while meeting little resistance from the hitters.
Chase Rosen
C - 2023 - Lenexa, KS
Uncommitted
Rosen stood out on defense especially as a catcher. He's quick and athletic behind the plate and has a catcher's outlook and approach to the game, with plenty of leadership skills mixed in.
Brex Caldwell
RHP - 2024 - Shady Point, OK
Oklahoma State
Caldwell has a lot of good components that you would look for out of a young prospect and he projects well too. He ran his fastball up to 83 mph with downhill plane and occasional hard arm side action to go along with a good, slurvy breaking ball to generate chases. He has some strength at the plate and power as well.
