2022 Top Prospects

Cam Collier  3B - 2022 - Austell, GA
Louisville

Collier already stands out with a physical 6-0/190 build and he knows how to use that strength from the left side of the plate. He generates plenty of whip with the barrel through the zone and impacted the ball as hard as anybody throughout the showcase with plenty of leverage and jump.

Connor Fosnow  OF - 2022 - Longwood, FL
Florida Gulf Coast/Santa Fe College

What stood out most for the athletic Fosnow throughout the showcase was his swing and present tools at the plate as well as what he can develop into. He does a nice job of incorporating his lower half into his swing with quick hands and extension out front, creating leverage at the point of contact with jump.

Preston Murphy  C - 2022 - Miramar Beach, FL
Northwest Florida State College

A primary catcher, Murphy impressed with his receiving skills behind the plate as well as with his arm strength which played nicely down to second base. He also shows a simple set of mechanics in the box and sees the ball well, getting the barrel to it often with nice carry to all parts of the field.

Bryant Zayas  SS - 2022 - Hialeah, FL
North Carolina State

Zayas showed standout tools on both sides of the ball during the weekend and is a young prospect to follow moving forward. With his 6.91 60-yard Zayas showed that quickness at shortstop with smooth hands and athletic actions and also possesses strength in his hands offensively with the ability to impact the ball and create back spin to his pull side.

Brady Neal  C - 2022 - Tallahassee, FL
Louisiana State

The first thing that stands out with Neal is his arm strength and actions from behind the dish, staying compact with a quick arm (event best 1.99 pop time) and similar carry from the outfield. He's also a lefthanded bat who shows looseness to his hands and generates solid bat speed with loud contact off the barrel when squared.

2023 Top Prospects

Drew Burress  OF - 2023 - Perry, GA
Georgia Tech

Burress impressed throughout the weekend with his righthanded swing, from his round of batting practice in which he connected with the barrel for hard line drive contact and into live action with similar results. He also moves well in the outfield with advanced actions and a strong arm with carry.

Edward Phelps III  3B - 2023 - Kennesaw, GA
Georgia

Phelps III stands out immediately for his long and athletic 6-0/170 frame but also for his abilities on the diamond. He showed a short and strong swing from the right side with solid jump off the barrel and will continue to unlock additional pop with adjustments at the dish. He was also up to 79 mph on the mound.

Mel Rubiera  OF - 2023 - Miami, FL
Calhoun CC

Rubiera had a nice weekend all around as he made the trip across the state of Florida from Miami. The lefthanded hitting outfielder showcased athleticism in the outfield along with good bat speed creating leverage at the plate. His swing is simple and repeatable getting his hands to the baseball quickly.

Jackson McKenzie  1B - 2023 - Pace, FL
Mississippi State

Like others in this event, McKenzie has shown intriguing two-way potential and continued to do so in Fort Myers. At 6-1/190 McKenzie stands out for his physicality which he uses to drive the ball from the left side and also run his fastball up to 79 mph while pounding the zone and mixing a 1-7 shaped curveball.

Cameron Tilly  RHP - 2023 - Newburgh, IN
Auburn

A primary righthanded pitcher, Tilly's arm strength was a stand out tool with the best outfield velocity (87 mph) of the event and was just as impressive with his upside on the mound. Topping out at 82 mph early on, Tilly was able to throw three different pitches for strikes and filled the zone up nicely with a quick arm stroke.

Jake Hembree  LHP - 2023 - Hiram, GA
Georgia

Hembree showed the ability to miss a lot of bats with seven punch outs in three innings of work. The lefthanded pitcher has a very clean and balanced delivery with an advanced feel for command and sequencing, attacking hitters 77-81 mph fastball and a sharp breaking ball in the upper-60s with depth.

Jarren Purify  SS - 2023 - Detroit, MI
Clemson

Younger for the grade and ultra-projectable, Purify has nice tools on both sides of the ball that should be monitored moving forward. His abilities with the bat from the right side are what stood out the most with a line drive swing plane and present looseness and quickness that will only continue to develop.

Lennon Richman  SS - 2023 - St Thomas, VI
South Georgia College

Richman made the trip up from the Virgin Islands and impressed with his actions up the middle as well as a fluid swing from either side of the plate. He shows loose actions and a quick exchange at the ball with solid arm strength across the diamond and looseness to his offensive tools with plenty of projectability.

AJ Ewing  SS - 2023 - Springboro, OH
Alabama

Making the trip in from Ohio, Ewing impressed from his round of batting practice to his final swings in game, incorporating his physical strength nicely. His hands are both loose and quick and he's able to drive the ball to all parts of the field with extension out front and occasional leverage.

Michael Graziano  OF - 2023 - Naples, FL
Georgia Tech

Graziano enjoyed himself a nice weekend all around, running a 6.91 60-yard dash and showed nice arm strength from the outfield which projects well. Like his other tools, he projects with the bat showing a consistent feel for the barrel with a linear path and hard contact when squared.

Freddy Noel Beruvides Jr  LHP - 2023 - Palm Beach Gardens, FL
Virginia

Physically advanced lefthanded pitcher Freddy Beruvides showed impressive two-way ability both on the bump as well as at the plate during the weekend's event. Beruvides topped out at an event best 82 mph along with one of the better breaking balls at the 14U event. He also struck the baseball well with a line drive approach and a loose lefthanded stroke.

Christopher Carroll  OF - 2023 - Miami, FL
Dayton

Not many players had a better weekend in game action than the quick-twitch shortstop from Cutler Bay, Florida. Carroll hit the baseball on the barrel for line drive contact to all parts of the field and his quickness was very disruptive on the base paths. The strength off of his barrel will only continue to improve with maturity.

Wiljer Casana  3B - 2023 - Miami, FL
Uncommitted

Casana already sports present strength to his frame and the righthanded bat out of Miami impressed with his ability to generate leverage through the zone. His swing is loose and repeatable and he can work to either gap with his best jump coming to the pull side.

Matthew Davis  OF - 2023 - Palm Beach Gardens, FL
Florida State

Davis made a very nice impression during batting practice by the way he swung the bat and got the barrel to the baseball on time. The righthanded hitting outfielder from Florida has a strong 6-foot-2, 190-pound frame and he uses that strength well into his swing. The rhythm of his swing allows him to be on time to the baseball and his extremely advanced bat speed produces plenty of juice.

Cason Engert  RHP - 2023 - Cumming, GA
East Tenn State

A primary infielder who showed some strength with the bat, Engert impressed the most during his two innings on the mound. Running his fastball up to 82 mph, the young Georgia native showed a quick arm stroke with extension out front and lived down in the zone with his heater.

Nick Martinez  3B - 2023 - Nanuet, NY
University of Alabama at Birmingham

Martinez was up to 81 mph during his look on the mound and showed a strong arm across the diamond (83 mph) but it was his righthanded swing that truly stood out. Both in live action and batting practice he showed big jump to his pull side with leverage at the point of contact and comfort finding the barrel.

Cooper Milford  OF - 2023 - Cumming, GA
Georgia

Milford has a projectable young frame standing at 6-foot, 140-pounds and although he is a primary outfielder he stood out most on the mound as a righthanded pitcher. His arm strength was impressive at both positions as well as the looseness of his arm stroke.

Sam Robertson  SS - 2023 - Anniston, AL
Auburn

Robertson swung the bat nicely throughout the weekend and the 6-0 Alabama native will only continue to develop with physical strength. He has plenty of quickness to his hands at present and can create jump off the barrel with nice tools to project upon.

Nigel Robinson  OF - 2023 - High Point, NC
North Carolina A&T

Robinson is a raw athlete whose actions showcased best in the outfield during drills where he topped out at 79 mph. His swing has some components to like and his physicality projects. Robinson's hands are strong and the way he whips the barrel is intriguing as he continues to improve his lower half involvement.

Alex Stanyek  OF - 2023 - Holmdel, NJ
Miami

Another young two-way talent that showed out over the weekend was righthanded hitting outfielder Alex Stanyek. Stanyek showed arm strength both from the outfield and on the mound where he topped out at 81 mph and 80 mph respectively. At the plate, Stanyek creates good bat speed for his size and flashes quickness to hand path.

2024 Top Prospects

Eduardo Fernandez  RHP - 2024 - Miami, FL
Lynn

A primary righthanded pitcher, large framed Eduardo Fernandez impressed both on the mound and on the mound. The righty from Miami sat consistently in the upper-70s and topped out at 80 mph with his cutting fastball. His bat is a carrying tool as well as he showed plenty of advanced strength off of his barrel.
