Christopher Vervoordt  1B - 2018 - St Cloud, FL

The 6-foot-4, 220 pound left handed hitter showed off very good bat speed with raw power while at the plate. Vervoordt aggressively turned the barrel to contact generating loud carry deep to the pull side gap. The 2018 grad's frame projects to support continued strength with additional physical development.

The Florida native utilized a quick arm through extension that produced very good life with heavy actions to the plate topping at 88 miles per hour. King showed very good feel for each edge of the plate and consistently over matching hitters through each inning of work.

Donovan Whibbs  SS - 2018 - Gulf Breeze, FL

Whibbs showed off his athletic, polished actions throughout the weekend posting a 6.77 sixty-yard dash and utilizing a very smooth, repeatable swing plane while at the plate. The 2018 grad showed very good barrel control through all quadrants of the zone with the present bat speed and coordination to hit the baseball hard to all fields.

Zachary Nash  1B - 2018 - Shalimar, FL

The 6-foot-4, 210-pound first baseman utilized a direct, compact path to contact with a slightly lifted plane through extension. When squared, Nash flashed the strength to drive the ball through the gap with ease. On the mound, the right handed showed a very heavy fastball with good life topping at 87 miles per hour.

Noah Dickerson  OF - 2018 - Windermere, FL

The Windermere, FL native showed very athletic actions throughout the weekend running a 6.99 sixty-yard dash and topping at 87 miles per hour from the outfield. At the plate, Dickerson flashed explosive barrel whip through the zone generating very good carry with jump to the pull side gap.

Drew Black  SS - 2018 - Overland Park, KS

The 6-foot 4, 190-pound shortstop showed present bat speed with very good strength while at the plate. Black generated loud, hard contact throughout batting practice splitting the gaps with ease. On the mound featured a heavy fastball with good life topping at 85 miles per hour. Consistently kept hitters off balance with a late, sharp slider and fading changeup.

Kody Darcy  SS - 2018 - Kent, WA

The Kent, WA native posted a 6.97 sixty-yard dash and topped at 82 mph while showing athletic action in the infield. Offensively, Darcy showed present bat speed through the zone on a naturally leverage plane that created good carry to the gaps. The 2018 grad consistently barreled up the baseball throughout the weekend, driving the baseball with authority.

The 6-foot-2, 170-pound outfielder created hard contact all weekend long utilizing a direct, simple path to contact with a naturally lifted plane through extension. Generated good bat speed through the zone with present strength at contact creating very loud, hard contact.

The 5-foot-11, 183-pound left handed hitter swung with intent to drive the baseball but maintained balance well throughout. McCluskey consistently repeated a simple and direct swing path that generated hard, loud contact to the middle of the field and pull side gap.

The 2019 grad showed smooth, repeatable mechanics and produced good life with a fastball that had solid downhill angle through the zone topping at 86 miles per hour. Madonna effectively kept hitters off balance with a sharp slider that had late, hard tilt to glove side.

Nick Hyde  RHP - 2019 - Mount Pleasant, SC
Western Carolina

Hyde showed good arm strength from both the infield and outfield topping at 84 and 85 miles per hour. At the plate, the South Carolina native flashed very quick hands through the zone that produced hard, loud contact on an uphill plane through extension.

Ryan Windom  SS - 2019 - Charleston, SC

The 2019 shortstop utilized fluid, athletic actions throughout defensively and ran a 6.81 sixty-yard dash. The Charleston, SC native stays very balanced throughout a line drive swing plate flashing very quick hands through the zone. Windom also showed the ability to manipulate bat head and work to all fields.

Keagan Vance  SS - 2019 - Houston, TX

The Houston, TX native showed very fluid, athletic actions with soft hands in the infield. At the plate, Vance utilized a direct, inside path to baseball with a high contact approach. Consistently barreled up the baseball creating solid jump off the barrel to the middle of the field and opposite field gap.

Bennett Smith  SS - 2019 - Charlotte, NC

Smith posted a 6.96 sixty-yard dash and showed good arm strength topping at 84 miles per hour across the infield. Offensively, Smith swung with intent to lift the baseball and showed the present strength with good carry off the barrel to split the outfield gaps.

Jack McRae  RHP - 2019 - Maitland, FL
Johns Hopkins University

The 2019 grad flashed solid two way potential posting at 7.01 sixty-yard dash, topping at 86 mph from the outfield and working up to 83 miles per hour with his fastball. McRae's loudest tools were at the plate showing the barrel control to work to all fields with the bat speed to drive it with authority.

The 6-foot-2, 165-pound right handed pitcher showed solid command for each edge of the plate with a fastball that had downhill angle and run topping at 83 miles per hour. Generated many swings and misses with a curveball offering that had tight spin with late depth.

Armani Davis  LHP - 2019 - Pembroke Pines, FL

The 5-foot-10 left handed pitcher showed good feel for his fastball with solid arm speed through extension. Created solid cutting action from a high three-quarters arm slot topping at 80 miles per hour. Davis was also impressive while at the plate utilizing a simple, repeatable swing path and consistently worked to all fields throughout batting practice.

Bryan Montanez  OF - 2019 - Tampa, FL

The 6-foot, 165-pound outfielder posted a 6.98 sixty-yard dash that proved to play well in the outfield as well flashing solid range while tracking the baseball. Offensively, Montanez is a switch hitter that utilizes a lifted barrel plane through extension. Consistently squared up contact from each side, but showed solid jump off the barrel with bat speed from the left side of the plate.

Caden McClure  RHP - 2019 - Bixby, OK
Amherst College

The 2019 grade consistently worked in the upper 70's to low 80's topping at 82 miles per hour. McClures fastball flashed solid running action to arm side and changed speeds with a 10/4 curvball that had slurve like shape. Consistently attacked hitter and worked four hit less, scoreless innings.


2020 Top Prospects

Sam Canales  C - 2020 - Corpus Christi, TX
Texas San Antonio

Canales showed very mature actions while behind the plate with quick, athletic actions and soft hands. At the plate, the Corpus Christi native shifted into the baseball well with solid lower half actions generating a smooth linear swing path through extension. Created consistent line drive contact to the middle of the field, but showed the barrel skills to work the other way as well.


2021 Top Prospects

Derek (DJ) Radtke  RHP - 2021 - Marietta, GA
Georgia

The 6-foot-3, 165-pound first baseman has a very projectable frame that will continue to add strength, but showed the present coordination and athleticism to stand out. Offensively, Radtke flashed good bat speed and strength at contact that produced hard rising line drives throughout batting practice. On the mound, the right handers long limbs created deceptive jump out of hand with a fastball offering that had some running action topping at 81 miles per hour.

Connor Throneberry  1B - 2021 - St. Louis, MO
Penn State

The Ellisville, MO native showed very mature, polished actions while at the plate. Throneberry generated excellent leverage at the point of contact with present bat speed and strength. Repeatedly drove the baseball with authority to the pull side gap while maintaining balance through finish.
