Thomas Babineau

Uncommitted per his PG profile, the righthanded Babineau certainly has the talent to pitch as the next level as he showed this past weekend. The 6-3/195 Babineau ran his fastball up to 87 mph but more impressively was able to control the pitch to either side with late darting life. He also mixed in a tight, downer curveball at 74 mph and shows promise with a changeup.
Demetrius Vizcarra
RHP - 2020 - Compton, CA
Pasco-Hernando CC
Vizcarra, a Florida International commit, produced the best fastball of the weekend event, running his heater up to 90 mph with a long and quick arm stroke through the back. He worked primarily off of his heater in this looking, showing late running life to his arm side while mixing in a short breaker in the upper-60s.
Tim Scarlett
RHP - 2020 - Ladera Ranch, CA
San Diego State
Scarelett is no stranger to Perfect Game events and this weekend he again showed his arm talent with a fastball that climbed up to 89 mph. The San Diego State commit is strongly built and whips his arm through the zone, generating nice plane to his fastball while showing shape to his curveball with depth up to 74 mph.
Jonathan Largaespada
RHP - 2020 - Compton, CA

Largaespada is an uncommitted 6-4/170 righthander who shows plenty of promise on the bump with ample projection and a present arsenal which already stands out. Up to 89 mph with his fastball in this look, Largaespada generates hard running life to his fastball and mixed in a tight slider up to 74 mph as well as a changeup.
Trevor McCorkle
C - 2020 - Milton, WA

McCorkle turned in a solid performance overall in California, showcasing his tools on both sides of the ball. The uncommitted catcher ranked amongst the best with a 1.92 pop time and a 76 mph arm while performing well with the stick too, creating torque in his swing with consistent barreled contact.
Ryan Troye
3B - 2020 - Brentwood, CA

Troye is plenty physical at 6-3/190 and more importantly he knows how to use that strength in his overall game. A primary third baseman, the uncommitted Troye showed nice actions in the dirt and maintains balance well though it's his bat that stands out the most. There's lots of looseness to his hands and he generates big bat speed with thump off the barrel around the yard.
Andrew Tank Rodriguez
C - 2020 - Fontana, CA

Rodriguez showed off solid receiving skills behind the plate both during drills and in live action, sticking pitches while showing a quick transfer and release on his throws. That quickness also showed offensively with his hands, staying short to the ball with plenty of strength in his hands.
Mark Daley
OF - 2020 - Bradbury, CA
Cal State San Marcos
Daley tested as well as anybody during the workout portion of the event, opening his showing with a 6.94 60-yard dash. He then went and showed off his arm strength from both the outfield (90 mph) and the infield (89 mph), with his best actions coming in the outfield. Daley also has quickness in his hands offensively with a linear stroke, finding the barrel in game for a double.
Jackson Fleming
SS - 2020 - Dana Point, CA
Pomona-Pitzer Colleges
Fleming is a lean, projectable middle infielder who showed his best in live as, finding the barrel regularly from the right side of the plate, showing looseness to his hands with a direct path to the ball. His speed played well on the bases, swiping multiple bags with good reads and also shows smooth actions up the middle with softness to his hands.
Anthony Ortiz
SS - 2020 - Montebello, CA
Biola University
Ortiz is listed as a primary shortstop and though he did connect for a triple in live action, he also showed off his two-way potential with his ability on the mound. He ran his fastball up to 87 mph in this look, working around the zone while mixing an array of secondary pitches for strikes, including a knuckleball with tumbling life.
Matt Schavone
OF - 2020 - Fullerton, CA
Nevada
Matt Schavone showed off some of the better arm strength throughout the weekend, first by throwing an event best 90 mph from the outfield where he showed a compact and quick right arm. He brought his arm talent with him to the mound as well, topping out at 86 mph with plane to the pitch and the ability to work to either side.
Graysen Tarlow
3B - 2020 - Orange, CA
Cal State Northridge
Tarlow's best at-bats came in live action and they came often, barreling the ball up consistently while showing a direct, linear path through the zone with plenty of looseness. He also performed well both in the infield and behind the dish, repeating actions well with a quick arm and carry on throws out of his hand.
Travis Warinner
SS - 2020 - Glendale, AZ
Yavapai College
Warinner did a little bit of everything on the weekend including finding the barrel on hard struck contact in live action while showing his speed on the bases. His arm strength is another tool that made an appearance on the weekend, throwing 85 mph both across the diamond as well as on the mound.
Jake Harper
OF - 2021 - San Pedro, CA
Uncommitted
Harper may not be the most physical of players at 5-8/155 but that didn't prevent his skills from sticking out this weekend. Up to 89 mph with his best throw from the outfield, Harper showed nice skills with his lefthanded stick, barreling it up well in live action while putting together quality at-bats.
Michael Nunez
RHP - 2021 - Stevenson Ranch, CA
Loyola Marymount
Nunez is another young and projectable rising junior who stands at 6-2/150. A primary righthanded pitcher, Nunez ran his fastball up to 85 mph with a quick arm stroke from an extended 3/4 slot, creating nice running life down in the zone. He also mixed in a tight breaking ball in the low-70s which he was able to use to help miss bats.
Owen Wessel
SS - 2021 - Huntington Beach, CA
Uncommitted
Wessel may not stand out physically at 5-7/135 but his tools stood out over the showcase. He gets low behind the ball nicely and works through it well, repeating nicely while showing looseness throughout and carry on throws. He also shows a handle for the barrel from the right side showing quickness to his hands and plenty of projection with added strength.
Jaedeyn Edwards
RHP - 2022 - Los Angeles, CA

Edwards is a young uncommitted rising sophomore who impressed with his overall arm strength on the mound, showing nice potential while running his fastball up to 88 mph. His curveball showed some bite to it at 70 mph and he also connected for a loud and deep double to center field in live action.
Ethan Watson
3B - 2022 - Newport Beach, CA

Watson turned in one of the best times in the 60-yard dash throughout the weekend, running a 6.97, showing off his athleticism. His righthanded swing might be his best tool right now, showing a short and quick path through the zone with whip to the barrel and plenty of intent through the zone while looking to lift at the point of contact.
Greg Marmo

Marmo is a young shortstop out of California who is an intriguing prospect to follow moving forward. Just beginning his sophomore season, Marmo showed off sound defensive actions up the middle with solid footwork and a quick release as well as a short, quick and repeatable stroke with nice rhythm and balance in the box.
Ken Kamiyana
1B - Free Agents - Koga, FO JPN
Kamiyana strides to the lefthanded batter's box with the intent of doing damage on the baseball. With a simple approach Kamiyana shows nice looseness to his hands and whip to the barrel, showing quickness to his hands and leverage out front with loud carry to the middle of the field. He also picked it well at first base with soft glove skills and a quick transfer on his throws.
Fuga Yambe
RHP - Free Agents - Shibata, MG JPN
Yambe's 60-yard dash of 6.90 seconds tided for the best of the showcase, setting the pace for the rest of his weekend. Though listed as a primary righthanded pitcher where he was up to 82 mph, Yambe showed well as a position player, utilizing a sound approach at the plate with a short, linear stroke.
