Michael Porter Jr (2021 OF, Marietta, GA) doubled in his first at bat of the game for the Col. Blue team today. Porter Jr. showed a patient approach at the plate with bat speed and turned on an inside pitch well.
Dylan Chromy (2020 OF, Matthews, NC) singled in his first two at bats today. Chromy has a good swing with good pitch awareness and showed good instincts on the bases.
Cade Watson (2020 LHP, Santa Rosa Beach, FL) topped out at 82mph on his fastball mixing in his slider at 72mpg and his changeup at 70mph. Watson pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with fluid actions and a repeatable delivery. His fastball has arm side run to it and has good late break to his curveball.
Coulson Buchanan (2021 RHP, Sugar Hill, GA) sat 83-86mph on his fastball with his slider at 75mph and his changeup at 77mph. Buchanan has a strong athletic build working from an over the top arm slot. Buchanan pounded the strike zone with late bite to his slider and a nice late breaking changeup.
