51-Red vs 52-Royal

Jarren Ford (2023 1B, Vacaville, CA) - Ford used his size and strength well to power the baseball to his pull side. Ford strung together a few hits including an RBI single and a double to deep left center.

Cameron Tilly (2023 RHP, Newburgh, IN) - Showed good bat speed and used his lower half well. Found a few barrels for a single and a double. Athletic on the bases and as a defender. 

Cody Wells (2023 3B, Mt. Vernon, IN) -  Wells sprayed the ball all over the field for 3 singles, showing good pop in each. He displayed good hustle on the bases beating out an infield single. 

Nick Martinez (2023 3B, Nanuet, NY) - Nick showed a good feel for the bat in his at-bats. Martinez used his bat speed for both a single and a double in the game, as well as other hard hit balls. 

Kevin Martinez (2023 SS, Cape Coral, FL) - Kevin showed strong ability from the plate and from the infield. As a shortstop, he showed off a strong arm to complement his athleticism in the field. While at the plate, he generated power to all fields with his quick hands.

Ceph Christie (2023 C, Washington, DC) - The 2023 grad utilized his athleticism all over the diamond. With multiple highlight plays from the outfield, Ceph impressed with quickness and a strong arm. He also tallied two doubles and single displaying his quick hands.

Kevin Maffuz (2023 2B, Oviedo, FL) - Maffuz showed a developed approach at the plate. The Florida native used his opposite field power to reach base safely with two singles on the day. 

Teddy Childs (2023 OF, Sterling, VA) - The Virginia native showed aggressiveness and good bat speed at the plate. Childs jumped on multiple first pitches to tally three singles. 

Frank Kelly (2023 SS, Massapequa, NY) - Kelly flashed his quick hands and consistent approach to have a good day at the plate. The 2023 grad had two singles including a well ripped line drive into right field.

Zakary Morales (2023 2B, Wolcott, CT) - The 2023 grad from Connecticut started the day off with a stroke to the opposite field and legged out a triple. He followed this up with another well hit single utilizing his quick hands and good bat speed. 

Adam Newman (2022 OF, Marietta, GA) - They could not keep Newman off the bases as he reached safely in all three of his at bats. The Georgia native's simple approach and good bat speed led him to three singles on the day.

Matt Manley (2023 3B, Huntsville, AL) - Manley displayed a good opposite field approach tallying two singles on the day. The Alabama native flashed strong hands and an ability to leverage his lower half.  

Jackson McKenzie (2023 1B, Fairhope, AL) - The 2023 grad from Fairhope, Alabama displayed a nice left-handed swing, showing an ability to make powerful contact. McKenzie started off the day with a deep shot to his pull side for an easy triple.






57-Royal vs 58- White

Brady Neal (2023 C, Tallahassee, FL) He went 3 for 5 two singles and a double showed good bat speed quick to the ball; showed good speed home to 1st and moved on the bases well.

Darnell W. Parker Jr. (2023 SS, Carrollton, VA) went 2 for 5 had a good day at the plate but really showed out at shortstop with his defensive opportunities showing good transfer hands and footwork and an accurate arm.

Carlos Browe (2023 RHP, Green Cove Springs, FL) 2 for 5 at the plate including a deep double in the gap; good extension and leverage ball jumped off the bat.

Cason Engert (2023 3B, Cumming, GA) 3 for 5 at the dish; gets his hands inside the ball well; showed great barrel control; and sprayed the ball to all field

Zaid Diaz (2023 OF, Miramar, FL) 2 for 4 good bat speed showed some pull side pop ball exploded of the barrel and some plus strength.



55-Columbia Blue vs. 56-Red

AJ Ewing (2023 3B, Dayton, OH) impressed with the bat, showing some of the quickest hands in the game and solid upside from the left side of the plate with hard line drive contact which resulted in a couple of hard hit singles as well as a double.

Cristian Ruiz (2023 SS, Oak Lawn, IL) made a nice defensive play at shortstop, not only to rob a hit that was well struck off the barrel, but to start a double play after a nice diving stab.

James Benjamin (2023 1B, Katy, TX) collected two singles to the pull side in his first two at-bats, adding to the Columbia Blue’s run department with an RBI his first at-bat.

Kenan Bowman (2023 2B, Charlotte, NC) had a nice day offensively as he picked up a couple of well struck doubles to his pull side gap, shows some leverage to his swing and quickness to his hands while showing well  defensively as well.

Though he’s listed as a primary pitcher, Jonathan Deng (2023 RHP, Boca Raton, FL) picked up three singles in his first few at-bats working all around the yard and also made a sliding catch out in right field.

Kaden Baker (2023 C, Clanton, AL) connected for some of the loudest contact in the game as well, scorching a couple of line drives to his pull side, including a hard double to the left-center field gap as part of a multi-hit game.

Ethan Humphreys (2023 RHP, Odessa, FL), another primary pitcher, swung the bat well for the Red team with five singles on the day, working the ball to all parts of the field. Both Owen Imel (2023 LHP, Lapel, IN) and Devin Dizon (2023 OF, Orange Park, FL) also had multi-hit games with Imel finishing with five singels while Dizon added another four.

Edward Phelps III (2022 3B, Lithonia, GA) and Eduardo Fernandez (2023 RHP, Miami, FL) both showed off their strength with extra base hits as Phelps III drove a loud double to his pull side and Fernandez crushed a triple deep to his pull side.


53-White vs. 54-Black Highlights

Diego Vega (2022 SS, Añasco, PR) ripped a triple down the left field line to open up the game for the White team. Vega has a line drive swing plane with quick hands that work smoothly to the point of contact. He also had an outstanding diving play at second base.

Cam Collier (2023 3B, Chicago, IL) struck a pair of deep fly ball doubles to his pull side and followed it up with a hard double down the line as well. The ball leaves his bat in a hurry with a nice launch angle. Collier has advanced strength to and through contact.

Cooper Milford (2023 OF, Cumming, GA) did a nice job of letting the outer half pitch travel and getting the head of the bat to it on time. The righthanded hitter was a single short of the cycle and finished the day 4-4 with a double, 2 triples, and an inside-the-park home run.

Christopher Carroll (2023 SS, Cutler Bay, FL) has a quick bat with nice barrel skills. Carroll continued from a hot day at the plate yesterday with a hard double to his pull side.

Bryant Zayas (2023 SS, Hialeah, FL) produced the two hardest hit balls of the day with a line drive triple to deep left field and a deep fly ball to his pull side. Zayas has advanced bat speed for his age along with plenty of strength through contact.

Charlie Knighton (2023 3B, Richmond, VA) connected on a line drive single to left field and a pair fly ball doubles to pull. Knighton flashes good bat speed with a well-timed leg lift trigger in his stroke.

Evan Folse (2023 RHP, Mandeville, LA) showed his barrel ability getting the bat head out in front for middle of the field contact throughout the contest. Folse finished the day 4-5 that included 4 singles.

Kaleb Higgs (2023 RHP, Justin, TX) made plenty of hard contact with the bat flashing potential power as well. Higgs had a pair of deep doubles in the game each to his pull side

Bryan Rios (2023 SS, Newark, NJ) had a trio of line drive singles resulting from his loose and easy stroke. Rios hits the baseball where it is pitched from his contact-oriented approach.

Max McCammon (2023 C, Bloomington, IN) has a compact swing with a level barrel plane. His day ended with 4 hits all resulting in line drives to his pull side.

Freddy Beruvides (2023 LHP, Palm Beach Gardens, FL) sprayed the baseball to all parts of the field. The lefty’s swing is smooth with nice barrel control and jump off of the bat when squared.

49-Green vs. 50-Navy

12/30/2018

Daniel Dominguez (2023 C, Miami, FL) got things going for the Green team offensively right away, picking up a single in his first at-bat before later picking up an infield single with his foot speed down the line.

Ian M Alicea (2023 SS, Caguas, PR) showed nice strength in his hands, picking up a couple of hard barreled singles to his pull side with nice jump off the barrel before doubling deep to his pull side.

Albert Moreno (2023 1B, Tinley Park, IL) had a couple of hard line drive singles early in the game, first lining a pitch over the shortstop’s head before showing the same short stroke on a single down the third base line.

Sam Robertson (2023 SS, Anniston, AL) showed some of the quicker hands for either squad, finding the barrel during his at bats with a short, quick swing and jump off the barrel, including on a bases clearing triple.

Nigel Robinson (2023 OF, High Point, NC) enjoyed a nice day at the plate, starting with a hard line drive that he shot back up the middle before lining the ball hard on a line to the opposite field for singles on back-to-back at-bats.

Ashton Smith (2023 SS, Chesapeake, VA) picked up a couple of base knocks in the game including a single to the opposite field but more impressive was his defensive play at both second base and right field where he made fully extended, diving grabs.

Trey Christman (2023 SS, Providence Forge, VA) connected for one of the longer hits of the game with a deep double to his pull side as part of a two-hit game for the Green team.

Hudson Mattox (2023 3B, Grenada, MS) put together a three-hit contest for the Navy team, collecting three singles to all parts of the field with singles in his first two at-bats, adding another late in the contest. 


45-Black vs. 46-Columbia Blue

Jackson Denton (2023 SS, Waycross, GA) - Denton showed good opposite field power with a double over the right fielder. Sprayed the ball to all fields with force. 

Jackson Crow (2023 RHP, Oxford, AL) - Jackson sent a deep fly ball burning the center fielder. Showed good bat speed in his RBI Double. 

Jarren Purify (2023 3B, Detroit, MI) - Showed a knack for finding the barrel and getting on base. Good runner on the base-path legging out an infield single. Showed his quick hands barreling multiple line-drive base hits. 

Blaise Boisseau (2023 RHP, Boynton Beach, FL) - Showed a naturally leverage swing plane with good pull-side power. Boisseau doubled to the LF fence in his second at-bat. 

Antonio Alvarez (2023 2B, Wellington, FL) - Alvarez was tough to keep off the bases. With a single in his first at bat and two doubles, he showed good bat speed in the box with the ability to control the barrel. 

Bryce Zicaro (2023 LHP, Clay, NY) - Showed lots of power and bat speed. Bryce got his hands threw the zone well and consistently found the barrel. 



47-Gold vs. 48-Gray Highlights

Alex Stanyek (2023 OF, Holmdel, NJ) jumped on the first pitch and drove it to his pull side. Stanyek showed quickness to his hands getting them inside and the barrel to the baseball for a line drive double.

Matthew Perez (2023 SS, Providence, RI) had a nice day at the plate driving a double deep to the left-center field gap. His line drive swing plane and loose hands provided plenty of juice off of the barrel.

Oliver Service (2023 RHP, Detroit, MI) showcased a direct hand path on an elevated pitch for a pair of line drive double to his pull side. The righthanded hitter squared the baseball up and showed quickness on the base paths. He later drove a line drive to the opposite field for his third double of the day.

Bret Clements (2023 SS, Oak Ridge, NC) knocked a pair of hits up the middle early in the contest and followed that with a backside single to right field as well. Clements has a direct hand path taking a short and balanced stride into contact.

Connor Fosnow (2022 SS, Longwood, FL) displayed juice in his swing resulting in everything but a home run for the cycle. Fosnow uses his lower half well into his swing and projects for more power as he matures. All of his hits came to the left-center field gap.

Anthony Fernandez (2022 OF, Providence, RI) hit the ball hard throughout the contest showing nice barrel to ball skills and a fluid stroke. Fernandez drove a deep double to his pull side gap that left the barrel with a high exit velocity.

Thomas Farley (2023 OF, Southside, AL) had a nice day at the plate showcasing a line drive swing plane and an easy swing. Farley has the ability to hit the ball to all parts of the field and driving the baseball where it is pitched.

Connor Lasch (2023 C, Chicago, IL) made the defensive play of the day in the middle infield. Lasch ranged to his left for a full extension diving grab and getting to his feet quickly to fire a strike to first to nab the base runner.

Jesse Sullivan (2023 3B, Jupiter, FL) had a successful day at the plate repeatedly lining the baseball to all parts of the field. Sullivan finished 4-5 with 4 singles one to each part of the outfield. His swing is simple and quick with a level barrel plane to the point of contact.

Matt Queen (2023 SS, New York, NY) had a pair of singles in the game resulting in scores for his Gray team. Queen strides into contact with plenty of balance and easy effort.



47-Gold vs. 48-Gray Highlights

Zaid Diaz (2023 OF, Miramar, FL) got things going for the Royal offense in the first inning, staying on a fastball which he shot back up the middle for a hard, line drive single that jumped off the barrel.

Cason Engert (2023 3B, Cumming, GA) impressed during his time on the mound, showing a loose and quick arm action which he used to run his fastball up to 82 mph early on while living down in the zone consistently.

Will Moore (2023 RHP, Creve Coeur, MO) led things off in the bottom of the second inning for the Columbia Blue team with a deep drive to center field which went for a single and quickly advanced with a stolen base before scoring a run.

Edward Phelps III (2022 3B, Lithonia, GA) showed a nice piece of hitting in the box as he stayed on a curveball and pulled his hands in, turning on the pitch for a line drive double to the pull side gap before stealing second base.

Robert Creighton (2023 RHP, West Monroe, LA) made the defensive play of the game at second base, ranging back behind the first base bag to make a slider grab on an end of the bat flair that looked like it was going to fall in for a hit off the bat.

53-White vs 58-White Game Highlights

Matthew Davis (2023 OF, Palm Beach Gardens, FL) The Florida native displayed good feel for the barrel with the ability to control the bat head. Picked up two singles in two at-bats.

Yuvraj Chauhan (2023 RHP, Franklin, TN) Displayed present bat speed with the ability to generate tight back spin off the barrel. Doubled to left field in his first at-bat of the game.

Cristian Landeros (2022 SS, Cypress, CA) Collected two hits, including a double in his first at-bat. The California native utilized a simple, repeatable swing  plane pair with a high contact  approach.

Diego Vega (2022 SS, Añasco, PR) Vega displayed athletic actions all over  the field. At the plate, Vega utilized a naturally leveraged  barrel plane that generates good carry off the barrel when squared. The 2022 grad doubled to deep left center field in his last at-bat of the game.

Cooper Milford (2023 OF, Cumming, GA) Showed a knack for finding the barrel and creating hard, loud contact. Collected two hits in game action  including a double to the opposite field.

Cam Collier (2023 3B, Chicago, IL) Collier impressed while on the mound featuring a fastball that generated heavy life through the zone up to 79 miles per hour. The Chicago native consistently attacked hitters and induced weak contact throughout his two innings of work.

Drew Burress (2023 OF, Perry, GA) Showed a mature, balanced approach with the ability to handle the barrel to all part of the zone. Also displayed present bat speed through extension on a double  in his first at-bat of the game.

56-Red vs. 54-Black Highlights

12/29/2018

Christopher Carroll (2023 SS, Cutler Bay, FL) continued to hit well and be disruptive on the base paths for his Black team. Carroll showed the ability to spray the baseball to all parts of the field with a line drive single to right field followed by a stolen base.

Bryan Rios (2023 SS, Newark, NJ) put a pair of fluid swings to the ball in the game. Rios has fluid barrel control with a repeatable swing that resulted in two singles and a 2-2 game.

Bryant Zayas (2023 SS, Hialeah, FL) showed some extremely advanced defensive tools in the middle infield. His hands are very soft and his speed shows up well in game. 


55- Col. Blue Vs. 58-White Highlights

12/29/2018

Litarris Murray (2023 OF, Desoto, TX) doubled in the first inning of his teams game today. Murray has pop in his bat with bat speed and drove his double to left field. 

Drew Burress (2023 OF, Perry, GA) singled and doubled for the White team today. Burress does a good job of keeping the barrel through the zone and has a confident approach at the plate with lots of bat speed.

Julian Minor (2023 2B, Fort Worth, TX) doubled in his last at bat of the game for the White team today. Minor showed good plate coverage today with the ability to hit the ball where it's pitched.

Edward Phelps III (2022 3B, Lithonia, GA) had a good showing at the plate today squaring the ball up both times he came to the plate. Phelps III has a big projectable build with a sound approach at the plate and has lots of pop in his bat. 

Will Moore (2023, Creve Coeur, MO) doubled in his at bat this afternoon. Moore showed bat speed at the plate with the ability to square the ball up and drive it to the wall. 
 

54- Black Vs. 57- Royal Highlights

12/29/2018

Jack McCune (2023 3B, McDonough, GA) singled in his both of his at bats today. McCune has a sound approach at the plate with a line drive swing plane and both of his hits where shot right back up the middle.  

Christopher Carroll (2023 SS, Cutler Bay, FL) singled all 3 times he came up to bat this afternoon. Carroll has a fluid swing with good bat speed, an ability to hit the ball to all fields and has good instincts on the bases stealing a base after each one of his hits. 

Ethan Lytle (2022 OF, Lincoln University, PA) singled both times he came up to the plate this afternoon. Lytle showed good barrel control today with bat speed and has a confident approach at the plate.

Bryant Zayas (2023 SS, Hialeah, FL) singled in both of his at bats as well today. Zayas has quick hands at the bat with a line drive swing plane and has great speed down the line.
 
 


53- White vs. 56- Red Highlights

12/29/2018

Owen Imel (2023 Lapel, IN) tripled in the game for the Red team today. Imel has a confident approach at the plate with a level swing and showed good instincts on the bases. 

Devin Dizon (2023 OF, Orange Park, FL) singled in both of his at bats in the game today. Dizon has a contact approach at the plate with good speed down the line. 

Kenan Bowman (2023 2B, Charlotte, NC) made solid contact both times he came up today doubling in his last at bat. Bowman did a good job of squaring the ball up at the plate today showing a line drive swing plane with bat speed.

Cooper Milford (2023 OF/RHP, Cumming, GA) sat 75-80mph on his fastball today mixing in a curveball at 60mph. Milford has good arm speed with a feel for his curveball and did a good job of keeping hitters off-balance. 



 


49- Green Vs. 51- Red Highlights

12/29/2018

Kevin Martinez (2023 SS, Cape Coral, FL) reached base twice today including tripling in his first at bat of the game. Martinez squared the ball up consistently today showing a good feel for his barrel and his bat speed. 

Nick Martinez (2023 3B/RHP, Nanuet, NY) hit two hard line drives to left field in the game today for the red team. Martinez has a sound approach at the plate with a line drive swing plane and centered up on the ball both times he came up to bat today. On the mound Martinez had his fastball sitting 77-81mph. Martinez pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with a deliberate delivery and a long arm action.  

Daniel Dominguez (2023 C, Miami, FL) tripled in his at bat of his teams second game today. Dominguez did a good job of keeping his hands inside the ball on his triple showing he has pop in his bat with bat speed. 



50- Navy Vs. 52- Royal Highlights

12/29/2018

Jackson McKenzie (2023 1B, Fairhope, AL) continued his solid day today collecting two more singles in his last game of the day. McKenzie showed bat speed at the plate with a sound approach and consistently squares the ball up. 

Donovan Friloux (2023 C/RHP, Luling, LA) sat 74-78mph with his fastball. Friloux pitches from a low 3/4 arm slot with a deliberate pace on the mound with the ball coming out clean. Friloux has good tight spin on his curveball with run to his fastball and has good arm speed.

Sam Robertson (2023 SS, Anniston, AL) singled in both of his at bats during his teams second game of the day today. Robertson has a tall projectable frame with an aggressive approach at the plate and does a good job of hitting the ball where it's pitched.

Michael Lewis (2023, Glen Allen, VA) singled both times he came up to the plate today. Lewis has a smooth swing with a sound approach at the plate. 

Camden Wimbish (2023 C/RHP, Locust, NC) doubled and singled in the game for the Col. Blue team today. Wimbish has lift in his swing with pop and squared the ball up both times he came to the plate today. On the mound Wimbish topped out at 79mph with his fastball while mixing in his slider at 70mph. Wimbish works both sides of the plate with his fastball locating it well and mixing in his slider consistently for strikes. 

Dillon Moquin (2023 3B/RHP, Coral Springs, FL) sat 74-76mph on his fastball mixing in his changeup at 69mph. Moquin did a good job of keeping the ball down in the zone and attacks hitters with his fastball. 

Cayden Freels (2023 C, Coral Springs, FL) doubled in his first at bat this afternoon. Freels showed good bat speed at the plate with pop and drives the ball to the gaps.

Jarren Purify (2023 3B, Detroit, MI) doubled in his at bat this afternoon. Purify has a short quick swing at the plate with goos instincts on the bases. 

Tanner Paschke (2023 SS/RHP, O’Fallon, MO) topped out at 78mph on his fastball this afternoon pairing it with his curveball at 62mph. Paschke has a deliberate delivery hiding the ball well with good arm side run to his fastball and his tight break to his curveball. 

Connor Fosnow (2022 SS, Longwood, FL) had a good showing defensively today. Fosnow has a strong accurate arm with good lateral agility and made a nice diving play during the game. 

Connor Lasch (2023 C/RHP, Chicago, IL) had a good showing on the mound today. Lasch has good late life to his fastball mixing in his curveball for strikes getting lots of swings and misses. Lasch faced three batters during his appearance today and stuck all three of them out.

Michael Graziano (2023 OF, Naples, FL) tripled in his first at bat of the game for the Col. Blue team today. Graziano has an aggressive approach at the plate with bat speed and has good speed and instincts on the bases. 

Alex Stanyek (2023 OF/RHP, Holmdel, NJ) sat 78-80mph on his fastball mixing in his curveball at 63mph. Stanyek showed a good presence on the mound attacking the zone with his fastball and has good depth and tight spin to his curveball. 

Jesse Sullivan (2023 3B, Jupiter, FL) had a good showing at the plate this morning. Sullivan has a sound approach at the plate with a level swing and has good speed on the bases.

Jaxsen Hall (2023 1B, Amarillo, TX) singled and doubled in the game for the Black team today. Hall has a quick smooth swing doing a good job of keeping the barrel in the zone and centered the ball up both times he came up today. 

Jackson Crow (2023 RHP, Oxford, AL) sat 76-77mph with his fastball topping out at 78mph to go along with his curveball at 66mph and his changeup at 73mph. Crow pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a free and easy arm action with the ball coming out well. Crow showed a good feel for his breaking ball and did a good job of mixing in his pitches to keep hitters off balance.

Bret Clements (2023 SS, Oak Ridge, NC) doubled in his last at bat of the game today. Clements has an aggressive approach at the plate and does a good job of hitting the ball where it's pitched. 

Darius Johnson Jr (2022 OF, Watkinsville, GA) made solid contact both times he came up today. Johnson Jr showed a patient approach at the plate with good speed and instincts on the bases.

Andrew Powers (2023 1B, Bethesda, MD) doubled and singled in the game for the Navy team today. Powers showed good balance at the plate with a smooth swing and uses his lower half well. 

Cashel Dugger (2023 C, Morrison, CO) looked good behind the plate this morning. Dugger showed good lateral agility and did a good job of blocking pitches. 

Cameron Tilly (2023 RHP, Newburgh, IN) topped out at 82mph this morning mixing in a curveball at 65mph, a slider a 72mph and a change-up at 73mph. Tilly has a tall projectable frame mixing in all his pitches for strikes and threw 2 back foot sliders for strike outs.

Mel Rubiera (2022 OF, Miami, FL) reached base both times he came up to the plate today. Rubiera has a good eye at the plate with a patient approach and does a good job of getting his barrel through the zone. 

Preston Murphy (2022 C, Miramar Beach, FL) had a good showing at the plate today. Murphy showed good plate discipline with a smooth swing and has good instincts on the bases.

Batting Practice Highlights

12/28/2018

Drew Burress (2023 OF, Perry, GA) showcased an athletic frame and put that to the plate with plenty of barrel control and looseness to his hand path. The righthanded hitter repeats his swing well and continually barreled balls to his pull side.

Matthew Davis (2023 OF, Palm Beach Gardens, FL) has present bat speed that he put on display with his loose hands and line drive approach. Davis worked mostly to the middle of the field with the ability to turn the barrel over to his pull side as well.

Jackson Denton (2023 SS, Waycross, GA) worked to the middle of the field with a simple and repeatable swing. Denton’s righthanded swing projects for more pop moving forward as he utilizes his lower half well into the swing with solid bat speed.

Blaise Boisseau (2023 RHP, Boynton Beach, FL) showcased lots of extension out in front with carry off the barrel. His projectable frame has plenty more to come as he matures and fills out physically.

Jarren Purify (2023 3B, Detroit, MI) 
already has present bat speed with the ability to turn the barrel over well. There is plenty of fluidity to Purify’s path with the ability to work to all fields with jump to his pull side.

Zackary Wallace (2023 C, McDonough, GA) displayed some jump when squared and a flat bat path. He gets on plane well and sprayed the ball to all fields with components in the swing to like and project on.

Drew Kennedy (2023 1B, Malvern, PA) has a downhill swing plane that can carry the ball to either gap when squared. He creates leverage to his pull side with projectable pop as he matures.

Antonio Alvarez (2023 2B, Wellington, FL) showed looseness to his hands with nice carry to the pull side when squared up. Alvarez has a nice feel for the barrel and looseness to his swing path.

Camden Wimbish (2023 C, Locust, NC) 
has looseness to his hands producing high exit velocities when squaring the baseball. Wimbush already shows strength to his stroke combined with some present bat speed and a line drive approach.

Michael Graziano (2023 OF, Naples, FL) has a short stride into contact with looseness to his hands. There is plenty of jump off of his barrel in which he showed during his round peppering the middle of the field with barreled line drives

Alex Stanyek (2023 OF, Holmdel, NJ) displayed plenty of juice in his bat working to both gaps. The righthanded hitter produces plenty of bat speed due to the quickness of his hands to the baseball.

Connor Fosnow (2022 SS, Longwood, FL) worked to both gaps well with plenty of juice off of his barrel. Fosnow has a quick righthanded swing utilizes his lower half for maximum ability in his stroke.

Dillon Moquin (2023 3B, Coral Springs, FL) worked the baseball to all fields with a simple line drive swing plane. Moquin’s swing is easy with a feel for putting the barrel to the baseball.

Wiljer Casana (2023 SS, Miami, FL) peppered both gaps during his round of batting practice displaying plenty of strength and juice off of his barrel. Casana has quickness to his hands with an easy and repeatable swing path.

Daniel Dominguez (2023 C, Miami, FL) has quickness to his hands that he put on display during batting practice. The righthanded hitter has a nice feel for the barrel that produced hard line drives to the middle of the field.

Litarris Murray (2023 OF, Desoto, TX) takes a short stride into contact allowing him to repeatedly be on time to the baseball. Murray worked the ball from his pull side to the middle of the field for line drive contact.

Sam Robertson (2023 SS, Anniston, AL) showcased his loose hands as well as his ability to turn the barrel over the pull side for hard line drive contact. Robertson’s contact is loud when squared with present bat speed and more to come with additional strength.

Nick Martinez (2023 3B, Nanuet, NY) displayed some of the better pop of the day hitting multiple balls deep to his pull side. Martinez has natural lift to his swing with the strength to hit for power as he continues to mature.

Jake Hembree (2023 LHP, Hiram, GA) has a line drive approach to the middle of the field. He takes a short stride into contact working his hands well into his swing. Hembree has plenty of projectable power left with added strength.

Mel Rubiera (2022 OF, Miami, FL) displayed plenty of bat speed and leverage to his path. Rubiera found the barrel consistently with a simple and repeatable stroke.

Sam Cantrall (2023 OF, Millburn, NJ) showed quick hands at the plate with strength to them. He worked to either gap consistently with a projectable overall stroke. 

Preston Murphy (2022 C, Miramar Beach, FL) displayed a simple and repeatable swing with projectable power to both gaps. Murphy has advanced strength for his age along with the ability to get the bat head to the baseball consistently on time.

Cam Collier (2023 3B, Chicago, IL) produced the loudest round of the day with big launch angles and the ability to hit for power to all parts of the field. Collier has an easy stroke with strength to his hands and his hips. 

Christopher Carroll (2023 SS, Cutler Bay, FL) utilizes a toe tap trigger for timing to allow him to get the barrel to the baseball repeatedly on time. Carroll sprayed the baseball to all parts of the field with projectable components to work with at the plate.

Bryant Zayas (2023 SS, Hialeah, FL) uses a downhill swing plane to the baseball and intent to drive. Zayas showcased pop to the middle of the field with obvious juice in his bat when on time out in front.

Eduardo Fernandez (2023 RHP, Miami, FL) has strength to and through contact that he put on display during his round of batting practice. Fernandez worked to his pull side with contact with an open stance and present juice.

AJ Ewing (2023 3B, Dayton, OH) drove the ball well to all fields with natural juice to the pull side. He repeats his swing well with ease.

57-Royal vs. 58-White Highlights

12/28/2018

William Rollings (2023 SS, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL) impressed on the mound during his one inning of work, striking out all three batters that he faced and working his fastball up to 79 MPH. The young right hander has a loose and quick arm, creating good life on his fastball and overpowering hitters.

Zaid Diaz (2023 OF, Miramar, FL) showed some pop in his bat, driving a ball to deep right field. He has a balanced approach with a smooth stroke, showing potential with the bat and creating hard contact.

Will Muench (2023 SS, Lake St. Louis, MO) hit a solid line drive with an oppo and up the middle approach. Muench also flashed the leather at Shortstop making a few nice plays while displaying good range and a strong arm.

Darnell W. Parker Jr. (2023 SS, Carrollton, VA) is an athletic player with quick hands and he ripped a double down the left field line during the game.

Joseph Vinciguerra (2023 RHP, Staten Island, NY) had an impressive outing on the mound, throwing three hitless innings with four strikeouts. Vinciguerra showed good command and kept hitters off balance throughout his entire outing. 

Cj Richard (2023 OF, Liberty Township, OH) swung the bat well for the Royal team, registering a hard hit single with an up the middle approach. Richard also showed good speed and athleticism, stealing a base that led to a run scored.

Kenan Bowman (2023 MIF, Charlotte, NC) displayed a good swing and gets in a good position to hit with rhythm to his swing going one for two with a single and recorded one stolen base.

AJ Ewing (2023 3B, Dayton, OH) had a good game at the plate going two for two with a single and a double. Ewing showed a good swing making consistent contact with power potential. 

Eduardo Fernandez (2023 RHP, Miami, FL) had a solid outing on the mound pitching three innings punching out four of the ten batters he faced. Fernandez pounded the zone and showed hard cut action on his fastball that topped out at 80 MPH and mixed in a sharp slider at 70 MPH.

51- Red Vs. 52- Royal Highlights

12/28/2018

Adam Newman (2022 OF, Marietta, GA) singled twice in the game this afternoon. Newman has a line drive approach at the plate with quick hands with a balanced stance and made lots of hard contact at the plate. 

Jackson McKenzie (2023 1B, Fairhope, AL) singled in his at bat today. McKenzie has a level swing and is aggressive on the bases.

Kohl Navarre (2023 RHP, Sulphur, LA) topped out at 79mph this afternoon mixing in his slider at 67mph. Navarre did a good job of mixing his pitches in keeping hitters off balance and struck out 6 guys in his 3 innings of work.

Jake Hembree (2023 LHP, Hiram, GA) sat 77-81mph on his fastball with his curveball at 67mph. Hembree has a smooth easy delivery with simple repeatable mechanics and pounds the strike zone. Hembree does a good job of keeping hitters off balance mixing in his pitches well and struck out 7 during in his appearance.

Ethan Oakes (2023 LHP, Bahama, NC) and Maxwell Jamison (2023 C, Richmond, CA) collected the only two hits in the game for the Green team.

For the Navy team, Ashton Smith (2023 SS, Chesapeake, VA) hit a deep double down the LF line, which scored Justin Ruiz (2023 C, Miami, FL) as the only run in the game. 

On the mound, Kale Scruggs (2023 RHP, Sanford, NC) pitched well in his 3 innings with 4 strikeouts. He was 73-75 mph with a projectable 11/5 curveball. 

Ryan Lewis (2023 LHP, Rockledge, FL) and Trenton Sawyer (2023 RHP, Hertford, NC) both dominated their 3 innings for the Navy team striking out five batters each.  Lewis sat 71-73 mph with arm-side run  with long loose actions.  Sawyer was 70-72 mph with a downhill plane on his fastball.

Bryce Zicaro (2023 LHP, Clay, NY) had a good outing on the bump pitching three innings punching out seven of the eleven hitters he faced. Zicaro showed good run and sink on his fastball that ranged from 74-78 MPH mixing in a 1/7 curveball at 62 MPH and change-up at 68 MPH. 

Blaise Boisseau (2023 RHP, Boynton Beach, FL) pitched three solid innings on the mound, striking out four hitters. Boisseau has low effort on the mound showing feel for all of his pitches and pounded the zone. His fastball sat 71-75 MPH and displayed a tight curveball at 63 MPH with sharp break and also flashed a change-up at 66 MPH.

Grant Brening (2023 3B, Shakopee, MN) has a nice left handed short stroke with a middle of the field approach going one for two with a line drive single in the game.

Aaiden Yusuf (2023 OF, Ramona, CA) is a lengthy athletic player that made solid contact going one for two in the game with a line drive double down the left field line.

Alex Stanyek (2023 OF, Holmdel, NJ) has quick hands and makes solid contact. He had a well hit double down the line and scored a run.

Connor Fosnow (2022 SS, Longwood, FL) has quick hands and is aggressive on the bases. He gets the barrel on the ball and shows strength in his swing. 

Wiljer Casana (2023 SS, Miami, FL) shows good physical strength with athletic actions. He has good instincts on defense and on the bases. Very solid player with good projection.

Christopher Carroll (2023 SS, Cutler Bay, FL) doubled in his first at bat of the game today. Carroll showed good plate coverage at the plate with a good swing and a short swing.

Evan Folse (2023, Mandeville, LA) doubled in his second at bat during the showcase today. Folse has a level swing with pop. 

Bryant Zayas (2023 SS, Hialeah, FL) singled both times he came up to the plate today. Zayas has good speed down the line with a sound approach at the plate. Zayas also showed good actions in the infield with a quick release and his throws have good online carry.

Diego Vega (2022 SS, Añasco, PR) doubled in his first at bat of the day. Vega showed bat speed at the plate with pop in his bat. 

Cooper Milford (2023 OF, Cumming, GA) doubled this afternoon for the White team today. Milford makes loud contact at the plate with a smooth swing and has bat speed.
