Green vs. Gold Highlights

Roy Jennings (2020 OF, Rio Rancho, NM) is an athletic outfielder from New Mexico who showed a good swing on a pair of pitches in Sunday's game. Squaring up a double as well as a single, Jennings went 2-2 at the plate.

Izaak Siefken (2021 SS, Broomfield, CO) showcased an uptempo delivery that really projects nicely as he matures. Siefken's fastball topped out at 81 mph from a full arm action and high three-quarters arm slot.

Vincent Sauza (2020 1B, Boulder, CO) split the gap in right-center field roping a triple in his game. Sauza has a straight stance and lean build as he put a charge into the opposite field extra base hit.

Brent Dibiase (2019 LHP, Englewood, CO) has an extremely projectable and lean frame that projects nicely for him on the mound. The southpaw was up to 86 mph Sunday with his fastball with a big sweeping slider and a clean delivery.

Navy vs Orange Game Highlights

Collin Romero (2019 SS, Castle Pines, CO) pitched at 81-84 MPH with a quick arm action.  He showed feel for his 11/5 curveball which showed nice shape to it.  Romero also got some run on his fastball and located it well.  

Ryan White (2021 3B, Littleton, CO) hit a double down the left field line.  He also hit the ball hard on a line out to 3B later in the game.

Cameron Yuran (2021 OF, Centennial, CO) hit a hard single up the middle.  He has a loose left handed swing with some bat speed.

Dante Leach (2019 MIF, West Sacramento, CA) hit a hard oppo double down the right field line.  He's shown good young hitting tools from both sides of the plate.

Dylan McKee (2020 SS, Centennial, CO) hit it hard down the left field line and hustled to stretch it into a double.  

Zach Harstad (2019 1B, Loveland, CO) collected 2 hits on the day.  He made solid contact to right field in both at bats.

Sawyer Shepherd (2020 RHP, Windsor, CO) hit a hard double over the center fielders head.  He showed strength in his swing and leverage at contact.

Morgan Baker (2020 RHP, Boise, ID) collected 2 hits on the game and showed solid barrel skills.  He hit a hard single up the middle and a hard ground ball through the 5.5 hole.

Ethan Bergstrom (2019 MIF, Salem, UT) also collected 2 hits on the day along with 3 RBI.  He hit a hard single up the middle and a solid ground ball through the 5.5 hole.  He also ran the bases well in both games with a few stolen bases.

Black vs. Columbia Blue Game Highlights

Brant Voth (2019 C, Murrieta, CA) was up to 87 MPH on the mound for the Black team. Voth throws a heavy ball and commands his pitches to both sides of the plate, throwing with intent. His 77 MPH slider is tight with downward bite.

Hayden Dyer (2021 MIF, Gardner, KS) swung the bat well, putting the ball in play during each at-bat and finishing the game with two hits. The 2021 grad's swing transfers well to the game and he showed the ability to time up live pitching. Shon-Claude Boothe (2019 C, Mangum, OK) also had two hits in the game for the Columbia Blue team. 

Tyler Quirk (2019 3B, Highlands Ranch, CO) had competitive at-bats and finished the game with two hits, including a double in the second inning. Quirk keeps his hands inside the ball and has a line drive swing plane.

Jacob Shaver (2019 SS, Salt Lake City, UT) continued an impressive weekend by hitting a double and showing pop in his bat to all fields. Shaver also pitched in this game, reaching 84 MPH with his fastball and striking out four batters in only two innings of work.

Connor Donohue (2019 C, Missoula, MT) has a physical presence in the batters box and he showed advanced ability at the plate. Donohue has good strength, a quite approach, and gap to gap ability. The 2019 catcher hit a double in the second inning.

Noah Ghiselli (2020 RHP, Boulder, CO) struck out five batters in three innings of work, reaching 79 MPH with his fastball and also showing the ability to command his curveball.

Navy vs Purple Game Highlights

Ricardo Santiago (2020 MIF, Tucson, AZ) with another quality at bat with a double down the left field line. Good swing with extension through the baseball.

Brennan Connell (2021 RHP, Olathe, KS) pitched at 79-81 MPH with command of his fastball. He showed feel for 3 pitches and threw them all for strikes. He showed a repeatable delivery and showed pitchabilty. He showed good arm speed on his change up and it has
deception.
Brock Watkins (2019 SS, Pleasant Grove, UT) showed very good actions defensively with good feet and transfers. He made a couple of instinctive plays in the game and has a good feel for how to play SS. He also stayed back well on a curve ball for a hard single up the middle.
Kevin Pipich (2019 RHP, Highlands Ranch, CO) pitching at 80-83 MPH with a quick arm action. He showed sink on his fastball when down in the zone and worked quick.
Billy Wall (2020 LHP, Arvada, CO) collected 2 hits in the game and swung it well. He hit a hard line drive single to right field.

Orange vs Purple Game Highlights

5/27/2018

Kellan Voggesser (2019 RHP, Fort Collins, CO) pitched at 82-85 MPH with his fastball and attacked the strike zone.  He located his fastball well and competed well.  He also threw a change up at 75 MPH with some cut action to it.

Dante Leach (2019 MIF, West Sacramento, CA) showed a loose easy left handed swing and hit a hard single to left field.  He also hammered a hard F8 in his second at bat with bat speed and good path to the baseball. 

Quincy Jaksch (2020 SS, Sedalia, CO) showed good defensive tools making a couple of nice plays at SS.  He also hit a hard single up the middle to go with a quality 10 pitch at bat vs Voggesser in the 1st.

Ricardo Santiago (2020 MIF, Tucson, AZ) hammered a home run to left field.  He showed bat speed and strength in his swing.  

Batting Practice Highlights Day 1

5/26/2018

Tate Satterfield (2020 OF, Wellington, CO) had a really solid round of batting practice with a pull side power approach. During his round, he flashed some strength to the swing that resulted in a ball hitting off the left field wall. 

Landon Gaber (2020 3B, Littleton, CO) showed real bat speed in his swing. Gaber has lots of fluidity to his stroke with a short leg lift trigger that was used nicely in timing up the baseball.

Calvin Hunt (2019 RHP, Arvada, CO) made some loud contact throughout his round. Hunt showed the ability to spray the ball to all fields with a downhill swing plane.

Roy Jennings (2020 OF, Rio Rancho, NM) flashed some bat speed and loud contact during his round as well. Jennings has some pop in his barrel that made for a solid overall round spraying line drives to all parts of the field.

Thaniel Trumper's (2020 RHP, Fort Collins, CO) hands sit deep and it plays well into his swing. He has a weight transfer into his swing that generates plenty of pop especially given his nice feel for the barrel. Trumper really dropped the barrel well on pitches over the plate with his line drive swing plane. 

Noah Turley (2020 1B, Midway, UT) flashed some bat speed during his round with a slightly open stance and a short leg lift trigger. He short hopped the wall in one instance flashing the occasional pop that he possesses. With some well added strength, Turley could be a really powerful bat.

Jacob Callaway (2019 C, Brighton, CO) has the strength that your look for in a hitter as well as the looseness to his swing. With some added bat speed, Callaway could be a special hitter. 

Billy Wall (2020 LHP, Arvada, CO) has a pull side approach from his upright stance. He stroked multiple hard ground balls to the pull side during his round showing solid bat speed and good feel for the barrel. 

Brock Watkins (2019 SS, Pleasant Grove, UT) showcased a very loose swing with some feel for the barrel. Watkins sprayed multiple line drives to both gaps displaying his good timing and repetition of hard contact. 

Tayler Aguilar (2019 OF, Evans, CO) had one of the more remarkable rounds of the day highlighted by a deep home run to dead center field. Aguilar has lots of raw pop in his swing and big-time power from the strength present on his profile.

Bryce Parsons (2020 OF, Centennial, CO) strides short into contact as his hands move back in a good position as he loads. He really flashed some nice line drives up the middle with quick hands that move directly to the point of contact. 

Ryan White (2021 3B, Littleton, CO) had a nice overall round showcasing his power especially to his pull side. White is very raw at the moment with really loose hands that play well to the baseball. 

Sawyer Shepherd (2020 RHP, Windsor, CO) has a really nice weight shift into contact with a line drive swing plane in his swing. His barrel stays through the zone for an extended amount of time. He sprayed several line drives up the middle and was best when doing so.

Jack Nielsen (2020 1B, Southlake, TX) displayed strength over bat speed that really plays nicely into his swing. The swing is very fluid and loose as the hands move to the baseball. Nielsen had one of the better rounds of the day spraying balls to all fields with mostly hard contact.

Jackson Romero (2020 SS, Fort Collins, CO) showed some decent bat speed and loud contact on Sunday morning's batting practice session. Romero made lots of hard contact with a smooth swing.

Brant Voth (2019 C, Murrieta, CA) has some fluidity to his hands and uses his lower half well into contact. He is a switch hitter who looks to lift with  barrel skills and quick hands especially from the left handed side. 

Connor Donohue (2019 C, Missoula, MT) is a really physical player who has lots of strength in his lower half and hands. He used those strong hands really well showing huge raw pop during his round.

Hayden Dyer (2021 MIF, Gardner, KS) is a young player who generates plenty of bat speed especially for his age. Dyer went gap to gap with some well struck line drives and flashed his potential power. 

Jacob Shaver (2019 SS, Salt Lake City, UT) took one of the better rounds of BP on Sunday. The Arizona commit's bat speed is real and his swing is really fluid with strong and quick hands. 

Purple vs. Navy Game Highlights

5/26/2018

Cole Martino (2021 RHP, Pueblo, CO) was up to 82 MPH with his fastball for the Navy team. He kept hitters off balance through his three innings of work, recording 8 strikeouts. His three-pitch mix was effective with command of all pitches, including a good changeup and curveball.

Ricardo Santiago (2020 IF, Tucson, AZ) showed a good swing plane and plate coverage, with bat-to-ball skills. The 2020 infielder hit a triple and also made hard contact on a ground ball.

Ethan Silcox (2020 SS, Rio Rancho, NM) also hit a triple, while he showed a fluid swing and good bat speed. Silcox is able to generate power with a low-effort swing.

Jackson Fisher (2019 C, Chariton, IA) and Colby Shade (2020 OF, Wellington, CO) also hit triples for the Purple team in their final game of the day. Fisher displayed good tools behind the plate, blocking and receiving well, while Shade has good balance and extension in his swing.

Tayler Aguilar (2019 OF, Evans, CO) made loud contact all day, including a single in the third inning of this game. Aguilar generates a lot of pop with a strong frame and good leverage in his swing. The Grand Canyon University commit also threw 93 MPH from the outfield in this morning's workout.

Navy vs. Orange Game Highlights

5/26/2018

Sawyer Shepherd (2020 RHP, Windsor, CO) recorded six strikeouts in only three innings of work for the Orange team. Shepherd threw his fastball up to 82 MPH with a low-effort delivery and some cut-action at times. The 6'4" RHP has a strong build with broad shoulders, displaying a physical presence on the mound and projecting for more velocity in the future. Shepherd also did some damage at the plate, hitting a double and driving the ball to the pull side.

Zach Harstad (2019 RHP/1B, Loveland, CO) had great command of his pitches and kept hitters off-balance, striking out four over two innings of work. He has a balanced delivery with good tempo, reaching his fastball up to 81 MPH with life.

Brock Watkins (2019 SS, Pleasant Grove, UT) showed some pop in his bat and speed on the bases, hitting a triple in the third inning. Watkins also impressed in this morning's workout, throwing 85 MPH across the infield and running a 6.70 60-yard dash.

Collin Romero (2019 SS, Castle Pines, CO) displayed solid contact tools and bat speed at the plate. Romero hit a double in the fifth and also drove the ball to the opposite field in his first at-bat.

Vaughn Burke (2020 RHP, Parker, CO) worked three scoreless innings for the Navy team, registering three strikeouts. Burke attacked hitters with his fastball and an 11-5 curveball, working around the zone and avoiding hard contact.

 

Purple vs. Orange Game Highlights

Jake Campbell (2019 RHP, Fort Collins, CO) was impressive on the mound for the Orange team, facing only one over the minimum in three scoreless innings. The 6'1" right-hander is lean with room to fill, throwing from a high 3/4 arm slot. Campbell's fastball was up to 84 MPH with life, while also showing depth on his slider and a late-biting curveball.

Jack Nielsen (2020 RHP, Southlake, TX) struck out four batters over three scoreless innings of work. His fastball was up to 82 MPH and he projects for more in the years to come. Nielsen's low effort delivery and clean mechanics work well on the mound. The 2020 grad gets good extension down the mound and stays on target with his delivery.

Ethan Silcox (2020 SS, Rio Rancho, NM) showed good defensive tools, making a nice play to his back hand. Silcox also showed good arm strength with carry on his throws.

Quincy Jaksch (2020 SS, Sedalia, CO) was another standout on the defensive side of the ball, making nice plays at the shortstop position.

Henry Rock (2019 RHP/OF, Superior, CO) struck out four in only two innings of work on the mound. Rock reachced 82 MPH with his fastball, while also throwing a big 12-6 breaking ball.





Gold vs Green Game Highlights

5/26/2018

Calvin Hunt (2019 RHP, Arvada, CO) pitched at 83-85 MPH with a quick arm.  He has a lean build with some fast twitch to him.  With a few adjustments he could really improve his command.  He also hit a hard double to right center field in the game and a single to left field.

Aidan Schultz (2020 RHP, Loveland, CO) made a great diving backhanded play at 3B and threw the batter out at 1B.  He's shown solid actions and has made all the plays hit to him.  He also threw 3 effective innings on the mound allowing no runs and 2 hits.  

Cole Adams (2019 RHP, Highlands Ranch, CO) pitched well at 78-81 MPH with his fastball and located well.  He threw his curve ball for strikes at 67 MPH.  

Grant Mannino (2020 OF, Denver, CO) hit a hard single to centerfield.  He also made hard contact to center field on an F8.  He showed bat speed and barrel skills.

Graham Gilchrist (2019 RHP, Boulder, CO) pitched at 80-83 MPH in his first inning of work and threw a good change up at 71 MPH.  He pitches with lower effort and has some arm speed.  

Chase Taylor (2019 C, West Jordan, UT) showed good catch and throw skills in the game putting the ball on the bag.  

Tate Satterfield (2020 OF, Wellington, CO) pitched at 80-84 MPH with some arm speed.  There's more in there with some adjustments.

Graham Osman (2019 LHP, Morrison, CO) pitched at 79-82 MPH with cut action on his fastball.  He located it well and was effective down in the zone.  Osman pitched inside effectively and induced quite a few ground balls.  He also threw an effective slider at 73 MPH with some shape to it.  

Jacob Shaver (2019 SS, Salt Lake City, UT) showed good defensive actions at shortstop with smooth transfers and hands.  He showed good footwork to and through the baseball.  Shaver also pitched at was 82-84 MPH off the mound with a good slider at 74 MPH.  

Connor Donohue (2019 C, Missoula, MT) showed good raw bat speed at the plate with strength in his swing.  With a few adjustments he could really hit.

Brant Voth (2019 C, Murrieta, CA) showed very good receiving and blocking skills.  He also showed good catch and throw skills with good arm strength and accuracy on the bag.  He also showed a good swing at the plate.

Drayton Black (2022 2B, Boise, ID) hit a double down the right field line.  He hit it hard and showed some bat speed.
