9- Purple vs. 11- Royal highlights

Michael Convery (2019 1B/RHP, Roswell, GA) had 3 hits in the game including tripling twice in the game. Convery has fast hands at the plate with bat speed and consistently squaring up the ball today. On the mound Convery had his fastball sitting 83-86mph with his curveball at 72mph. Convery does a goo job of using his lower half throwing both of his pitches for strikes consistently and with life to his fastball. 

Jacob Coody (2019 RHP/C, Hawkinsville, GA) singled twice this afternoon for the Royal team today.  Coody makes hard consistent contact at the plate with a power approach at the plate. 

Skipper Snypes (2019 SS/RHP, Mobile, AL) sat 83-87mph on his fastball with it topping out at 88mph pairing it with a curveball at 78mph. Snypes did a good job of filling up the zone with a hard bite to his curveball and missing multiple barrels. 

Kody Slate (2019 C, Suwanee, GA) singled and doubled for the Purple team today. Slate has quick hands at the plate with an easy swing and made hard consistent contact at the plate all day today.

Brantley Ellis (2019 OF, Piney Flats, TN) singled in his last 2 at bats this afternoon. Ellis has a confident approach at the plate with a level swing and his hands are quick to the ball.

Phillip Ridgeway (2020 LHP, Lawrenceville, GA) sat 81-84mph on his fastball with his curveball at 66mph. Ridgeway pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with a balanced delivery. Ridgeway pounded the strike zone today striking out 5 hitters through 2 innings of work.

Harrison Travis (2019 C, Soddy Daisy, TN) had 3 singles this afternoon for the Col. Blue team. Travis has a nice level swing with a sound approach at the plate making consistent contact. 

Jackson Huguley (2020 1B, Phenix City, AL) had 2 hits today including hitting a Home Run today. Huguley has a line drive swing plane with lift in his swing and squared the ball up all day today. 

Cj Neese Jr (2019 SS/RHP, Greensboro, NC) sat 89-94mph on his fastball mixing in his curveball at 75mph, with his slider at 80mph and a changeup at 82mph. Neese Jr. has a fast arm with an aggressive demeanor on the mound. His slider has late bite to it with good fade to his changeup and he pounded the outer half of the strike zone today. 

Grant Aycock (2022 RHP/SS, Greensboro, NC) singled in his first 2 at bats this afternoon. Aycock has a smooth swing at the plate with bat speed. 




19- Royal Vs. 20- White Highlights

Skyler Hutto (2022 SS/RHP, Trinity, AL) made hard contact all day today including doubling in his last at bat. Hutto has a good swing with a sound approach at the plate. On the mound Hutto had his fastball top out at 80mph mixing in a curveball at 68mph and a changeup at 70mph. Hutto has a clean delivery with an easy arm action pitching from a high 3/4 arm slot with good use of his lower half. 

McDonald McCommons (2022 C, Greensboro, GA) singled in 2 of his 3 at bats this afternoon for the Royal team. McCommons showed a confident approach at the plate with a level swing and makes consistent solid contact at the plate. 

Josh Pearson (2022 OF, West Monroe, LA) doubled in 2 of his 3 at bats this afternoon. Pearson showed lots of pop in his bat with a line drive swing plane squaring balls out consistently.

Andruw Jones (2022 OF/RHP, Swannee, GA) sat 79-82mph on his fastball mixing in a curveball at 68mph as well as a cutter at 76mph. Jones has a clean compact delivery with a nice short arm action. Jones did a good job of pounding the strike zone with late life to his fastball and had sharp late breaking action to his curveball. At the plate Jones singled 2 times this afternoon. Jones has a good swing at the plate with bat speed and has great instincts on the bases. 

Parker Byrd (2022 SS, Laurinburg, NC) singled in 2 of his at bats this afternoon. Byrd has a level swing with a sound approach at the plate. In the field Byrd showed good instincts at short with good footwork and soft hands.

Andrew Ruggeri (2022 LHP/OF, McLean, VA) singled and doubled in the game today. Ruggeri showed a balanced approach at the plate with a level swing making consistent contact at the plate and is aggressive on the bases. 
 


 
 

2- Cardinal Vs. 4- Gold highlights

Hunter Donaldson (2020 SS, Salem, AL) had 2 hits this afternoon including doubling in his first at bat. Donaldson showed good bat speed at the plate with gap to gap pop and has good speed on the bases. 

Mitchell Landon (2019 OF, Milton, GA) singled in his last 2 at bats of the afternoon. Landon has quick hands at the plate with good bat speed and makes hard consistent contact at the plate. 

Reid Fagerstrom (2020 RHP, Sharpsburg, GA) has his fastball sitting 85-87mph with it topping out at 89mph mixing in his slider at 78mph and a changeup at 82mph. Fagerstrom has a loose arm action with an online balanced delivery. Fagerstrom has arm side run to his fastball and is willing to throw his curveball at anytime.

Story Kimura (2019 SS/RHP, Westlake, TX) sat 83-84mph on his fastball with it topping out at 85mph pairing it with a slider at 72mph and a changeup at 77mph. Kimura pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with a deceptive delivery. Kimura mixes in his changeup well which has good fade action to it and he maintains his arm speed when throwing it. 

Ross Friedrick (2019 C, Alpharetta, GA) had a double and single this afternoon for the Gold team. Friedrick has lots of pop in his bat with lift in his swing and squared the ball up multiple times today. 





13- Black Vs. 15- Gold highlights

5/20/2018

Allen Brown (2019 C, Snellville, GA) singled in his first 2 at bats today for the Gold team. Brown has a good feel for his barrel centering up on the ball all day today and shows good bat speed. 

Christopher (CJ) Kendall (2018 SS, Alpharetta, GA) had a good showing at short today. Kendall showed good actions in the infield with soft sure hands.

Khalil Hassan (2019 OF, Ellenwood, GA) had 3 hits this afternoon including a double. Hassan displayed good plate discipline with gap pop and an aggressive approach at the plate. 

Kenneth Mills (2019 OF, Stockbridge, GA) had 3 hits in the game including a triple this afternoon. Mills has a good approach at the plate with bat speed and hits the ball to all fields.

Brett Roberts (2019 SS, Atlanta, GA) singled in his first 2 at bats this afternoon. Roberts squared the ball up a couple of times today showing off his bat speed.

Demirez Grier (2019 SS, Tyrone, GA) had 2 hits today including doubling in his last at bat today. Grier showed some pop in his bat with a level swing and good instincts on the bases.

Tyler Rigot (2019 LHP, Weddington, NC) sat 80-84mph with his fastball topping out at 85mph mixing in his curveball at 67mph and his changeup at 69mph. Rigot showed good command on the mound of his pitches with a deceptive delivery.

 
   

 

10- Red Vs. 12- White highlights

Cain Johnson (2019 OF, Alpharetta, GA) doubled and singled in the game today for the white team. Johnson has a patient approach at the plate with a line drive swing power and shows bat speed. 

Cooper King (2020 3B/RHP, Indian Trail, NC) sat 80-83mph with his fastball topping out at 84mph mixing in a curveball at 65mph. King has a low effort delivery getting good extension on the mound and showed good command of his curveball. At the plate King collected a double and a single for hits. King made hard contact at the plate throughout the day displaying bat speed as well. 

Charles Stephenson (2019 SS/RHP, Columbus, GA) had his fastball sitting 82-85mph pairing it with a curveball at 69mph. Stephenson displayed good command on the mound hitting his spots with both pitches and his curveball has good sharp bite to it. 

Marcerio Allen (2019 SS, Dacula, GA) singled in his first at bat and doubled in his last at bat for the Red team today. Allen has a short quick swing with good plate discipline and showed good instincts on the bases. 

Garrett Madliak (2021 C, Carrollton, GA) singled in his last 2 at bats today. Madliak has a confident approach at the plate with a level swing and makes consistent contact. 

Cody Rech (2020 C, Milton, GA) singled and doubled in his last 2 at bats of the weekend. Rech showed a line drive swing plane with good bat speed and made solid hard contact all day today.

Parker Nunnally (2021 RHP/1B, Houma, LA) singled twice this morning. Nunnally has a short swing at the plate with quick wrists and made solid contact all day at the plate. 


 






16- Grey Vs. 17- Purple highlights

5/20/2018

Jesse Robinson (2020 OF, Beltsville, MD) doubled and singled in the game for the Purple team today. Robinson does a good job using all fields while at the plate with good instincts on the bases. 

Adam Love (2020 OF/RHP, Roswell, GA) had his fastball sitting 82-85mph this morning mixing in a changeup at 75mph. Love pitches from a low 3/4 arm slot with a quick tempo on the mound. Love does a good job of maintaining his arm speed when throwing his changeup and which has good fade to it. At the plate Love singled twice today. Love has a contact approach at the plate and uses his speed well on the bases. 

Omar Daniels (2019 SS, Lawrenceville, GA) tripled and singled in the game for the Grey team today. Daniels has a short quick swing with pop in his bat and is quick on the bases. In the field Daniels showed good range with soft hands. 

Clay Minor (2021 SS, Greensboro, NC) had an inside the park Home Run during todays game. Minor has a sound approach at the plate with a level swing and lots of speed on the bases. 

Houston High (2020 C, Nashville, TN) reached base 3 times this morning singling twice. High centers the ball up consistently at the plate with a good swing making loud contact.

Brennan Keil (2019 3B/RHP, Ormond Beach, FL) had a good showing in his one inning of work on the mound today topping out at 90mph with his fastball. Keil pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot throwing a heavy fastball which he gets inside right handers hitters with while mixing in a slider with good sharp bite to it at 81mph. 




 

 



6- Grey Vs. 8- Orange highlights

5/20/2018

Garrett McMillan (2019 RHP/1B, Tuscaloosa, AL) singled and tripled at the plate this morning. McMillan has a nice easy swing with bat speed and displayed good instincts on the bases. On the mound McMillan sat 80-85mph on his fastball mixing in a curveball at 73mph and a changeup at 73mph. McMillan has an arm that works pitching with good tempo on the mound and showed good arm speed. 

Wesley Wade (2019 SS, Lindale, GA) reached base 2 times this morning. Wade displayed quick hands at the plate with pop in his bat.

Grant Roosma (2019 C, Austin, TX) had a good showing at the plate this today for the Orange team. Roosma has a strong lower half which he uses well and centers the ball up. 

Jordan Thalacker (2020 OF, Waxhaw, NC) singled 2 times today for the White team. Thalacker has a confident approach at the plate with bat speed and shows good instincts on the bases.

 

 

1- Black Vs. 3- Col. Blue highlights

Braiden Broussard (2020 MIF, Sweet Water, AL) singled in his last 2 at bats this morning. Broussard has a level swing plane with bat speed and makes consistent contact at the plate. 

Chance Broussard (2019 RHP/IF, Sweet Water, AL) singled in his first 2 at bats today. Broussard has an aggressive swing path at the plate displaying bat speed. 

Sabin Roane (2020 SS, Stafford, VA) doubled and singled in the game for the black team today.  Roane has a fluid swing with gap to gap pop and has a line drive swing plane. 

Jax Cash (2019 C/RHP, Spartanburg, SC) had a good showing behind the plate and on the mound today. Cash has. a strong arm behind the plate throwing out 2 people in the games today showing off his receiving skills and a quick release and transfer as well. On the mound Cash topped out at 92mph on his fastball pairing it wish a curveball at 74mph and a changeup at 76mph. Cash uses his lower half well staying online in his delivery with good arm speed. 

Lucas Donlon (2019 3B, Great Falls, VA) singled 2 times this afternoon. Donlon is a gap to gap hitter with some pop displaying bat speed.

Xander Hamilton (2019 OF/RHP, Raleigh, NC) singled and doubled in the game for the black team. Hamilton has a line drive swing plane with bat speed and good instincts the bases. On the mound Hamilton had his fastball top out at 92mph today mixing in a slider at 83mph. Hamilton has a quick delivery with good arm speed and uses his lower half. His slider has a late break to it and he mixes it in for strikes consistently. 

Cade Fontenot (2019 1B, Colleyville, TX) singled in his first 2 at bats today. Fontenot displayed a confident approach at the plate with quick hands and hits the ball to all fields. 

Ryan Watson (2018 MIF, Crestview, FL) had 2 hits in todays game for the Col. Blue team. Watson has a level swing with a sound approach at the plate. 



5- Green Vs. 7- Navy highlights

5/19/2018

Kevin Kilpatrick (2019 OF, Stockbridge, GA) had 3 hits this morning including a Home Run in his last at bat of the showcase. Kilpatrick shows bat speed at the plate with pop in his bat and drives the ball to the gaps. 

Tyler Odak (2019 OF, Cumming, GA) singled 3 times this morning for the Navy team. Odak has a confident approach at the plate with a level swing and hits the ball to all fields.

Royal Hobson (2019 SS, Nashville, TN) singled 2 times in this mornings showcase games. Hobson has a line drive swing plane with bat speed consistently squaring the ball up this morning and showed good instincts on the bases. 

Zac Mixon (2020 OF, Duluth, GA) singled and doubled in todays game for the Navy team. Mixon displayed good bat control in the box with a nice easy swing and made hard contact all 3 times he came to the plate.

Bryce Jenkins (2019 RHP, Knoxville, TN) sat 82-85mph on his fastball mixing in his curveball at 75mph. Jenkins has a an arm that works well pitching downhill with good use of his lower half. Jenkins did a good job of pitching down in the zone with late run to his fastball and has good late break to his curveball.

Sunshine Southeast BP Highlights

Josh Pearson (2022 OF, West Monroe, LA) showed impressive bat speed with loose hands and natural leverage to the swing path. Pearson turns the barrel over with intent and showed pretty loud power with multiple home runs during the round. 

Connor Rasmussen (2022 2B, Fort Mill, SC) has present feel for the barrel for a young prospect with looseness to his hands with a fluid swing path. Rasmussen worked consistently to the pull side with intent. 

Alex Moelter (2022 3B, Milton, GA) has a naturally lofted swing plane that was well timed as he swung down onto the ball to create hard contact. The hands were loose and he flashed some leverage when working to pull. 

Andruw Jones (2022 OF, Swannee, GA) has a lot of raw, projectable offensive tools and flashed some extension through the point of contact. The raw bat speed was impressive and the power should only continue to increase as he adds strength. 

Patrick Norman (2019 SS, Murfreesboro, TN) showed a pretty clean, low effort swing with smoothness to the barrel plane and a very easy trigger into the swing. Norman's power stood out as he hit multiple wall clearing bombs during the round. 

Jesse Robinson (2020 OF, Beltsville, MD) showed off very interesting offensive tools with lightning fast hands and impressive raw bat speed. The ball jumps off the barrel well when squared and the raw power was on full display. 

Nicholas Watson-Garcia (2019 RHP, Conyers, GA) is a primary pitcher but showed off impressive two-way ability with quickness to his hands and creates an element of controlled explosion through the point of contact. 

Brennan Keil (2019 3B, Ormond Beach, FL) has a very strong frame and swing with a consistent, repeatable swing plane. Keil operates under a fly ball approach offensively and that allows him to tap into his impressive raw power. 

Cj Neese Jr (2019 SS, Greensboro, NC) is an impressive two-way prospect and has a very clean swing with natural bat speed and a solid gap-to-gap approach. He gets extended out in front well with natural leverage through the point of extension. 

Allen Brown (2019 C, Snellville, GA) has a quick load with good balance and very strong hands and wrists to consistently turn the barrel over and pull the ball. The hands work very well into the swing and he utilizes his lower half well. 

Christopher (CJ) Kendall (2018 SS, Alpharetta, GA) gets on plane nicely when extended out in front with a smooth swing plane. Kendall has consistent barrel skills with good balance. 

Bret Madren (2019 C, Sandy Springs, GA) has a very strong swing and approach with loud bat speed and a clean hand load through the swing. There's lots of bat speed and natural leverage with a heavy pull-side swing approach. 

Garrett Danford (2019 2B, Grand Ridge, FL) has a clean, direct hand path to the ball and torques his hips well through contact. He has very quick hands with some impressive power as well with consistent pull side well-struck contact. 

Harrison Travis (2019 C, Soddy Daisy, TN) has a longer swing path with natural bat speed and a smooth barrel plane through the swing. He creates good backspin off contact and allows the ball to carry far through the point of contact. 

Zane Faulk (2020 C, Phenix City, AL) showed off tools all day long and that included offensively. Faulk has very good bat speed and extends well through contact with consistently well-struck contact through the point of contact. 

Kyle Bork (2019 OF, Alpharetta, GA) starts his hands out very low but they are very quick and this allows him to consistently lift the ball with authority. Bork has lots of projectable power with consistently roped balls to the pull side and off the wall. 

Skipper Snypes (2019 SS, Mobile, AL) swings on top of the ball well to create a good amount of balance and bat speed throughout the round. Snypes has a lot of proejctable power and flashed some hip torque through the weight shift. 

Marcerio Allen (2019 SS, Dacula, GA) has a short, compact, and contact-oriented swing path with quick, twitchy hands through extension. He turns the barrel over well with some fluidity to the overall swing. 

Collin Fowler (2019 OF, Taylors, SC) has a timing hitch in the back of his swing that gets him on plane and adds hand quickness. Swings with intent and flashed some pop when getting on plane. 

Cooper King (2020 3B, Indian Trail, NC) has an inside hand path and consistently mashed the ball to the pull side of the plate. Lots of impact strength and wore out the pull side of the field with a patient approach. 

Garrett Madliak (2021 C, Carrollton, GA) has a fairly fluid swing path with an inverted toe tap into the stride. He did consitent damage to the pull side of the field and even launched a home run later in the round. 

Jax Cash (2019 C, Spartanburg, SC) showed strength in all facets of the game and that included offensively too. He has legitimate strength and power with a vey smooth barrel plane and was timed up well too. 

Lucas Donlon (2019 3B, Great Falls, VA) has excellent barrel control through the zone with a clean and effective weight shift forward. Donlon made consistent hard contact and attacked the pull side of the field. 

Xander Hamilton (2019 OF, Raleigh, NC) has some loud bat speed with tons of leverage and strength to the pull side. Hamilton utilized a pull-heavy approach and hit multiple home runs during the round.

Carson Ford (2019 C, Spring Hill, TN) has a line drive swing plane and torques his hips well through the lower half. The swing path projects nicely with some pop and jump off the barrel too. 

Jadyn Jackson (2019 SS, Sugar Hill, GA) showed off very fast hands with power that plays well to all fields, including opposite field. The swing path was clean and he has present bat speed as the power continues to grow. 

Reid Fagerstrom (2020 RHP, Sharpsburg, GA) has a strong lower half that aids in power production as he shifts his weight forward through contact. The power is appealing with good pop to the pull side. 

Kobe Jones (2019 OF, Marietta, GA) showed present impact strength with lots of power through extension. He worked exclusively to pull with intent and banged a couple of hard hit fly balls off the wall. 

JT Marr (2019 C, Fort Mill, SC) has lots of strength and peppered balls up the middle and to the pull side consistently. He clears his hips well and extends out in front that will continue to improve with additional strength too. 

Garrett McMillan (2019 RHP, Tuscaloosa, AL) has some strength and bat speed with a more uphill swing plane; this allows him to elevate the ball well and has lots of impact strength to all fields. 

Nate Bonner (2019 SS, Calhoun, GA) displayed a level swing plane and swings with intent to drive the baseball to both gas. He has some bat speed and hand quickness while flashing legitimate offensive tools. 

Bret Adkins (2019 C, Hiram, GA) has a clean swing plane with present quickness to his hands through contact. The swing flashed some jump to the middle of the field and pull side with projectable power. 

William Hamiter (2019 SS, Tuscaloosa, AL) has a very strong and smooth lefthanded swing with natural leverage and exit strength off the barrel. Hamiter looks very comfortable swinging and the power plays now with loud contact. 

Wesley Wade (2019 SS, Lindale, GA) has bat speed with quick and fast hands through the swing. The plane gets downhill at times but turns over the inside of the plate very well with fluidity to the overall swing path.

Max Bennett (2019 OF, Dacula, GA) singled twice this afternoon for the Royal team today. Bennett has a sound approach at the plate with a level swing and makes consistent hard contact at the plate.

Trevor Patchin (2020 SS, Union, MS) singled 2 times this evening today. Patchin has an aggressive approach at the plate attacking fastballs early in the count and has a smooth swing. 

Matthew Murphy (2019 RHP, Ninety Six, SC) sat 83-85mph on his fastball mixing in his curveball at 69mph and his changeup at 75mph. Murphy pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with good tempo to his delivery. Murphy mixes in all his pitches for strikes with good spin to his curveball and maintains his arm speed on his changeup.

Matthew Dooley (2019 2B, Lexington, SC) singled 2 times today. Dooley has a smooth swing with good instincts on the bases. 

Murphy Flood (2019 1B, Dalton, GA) has 2 singles this evening for the White team today. Flood makes hard line drive contact at the plate with gap to gap pop.

Jared Lugo (2019 OF, Knoxville, TN) singled 2 times this evening for the Red team today. Lugo has good balance at the plate with a sound approach at the plate and shows bat speed.

Dylan Matela (2019 RHP, Alpharetta, GA) sat 85-88mph on his fastball pairing it with a curveball at 72mph and a changeup at 79mph. Matela has a nice clean delivery mixing in his off-speed well consistently throwing his curveball for strikes.

Garrett Danford (2019 2B, Grand Ridge, FL) had a Home Run this afternoon for the Col. Blue team today. Danford has a compact swing with lots of pop in his bat and displays bat speed.

Cj Neese Jr (2019 SS, Greensboro, NC) had 2 singles in the game today. Neese Jr. is short to the ball with a smooth swing and makes consistent hard contact at the plate.

Washington uses multiple arm angles with a loose arm action and an easy compact delivery. Washington does a good job of keeping the ball down in the zone with a fast arm.
