Dale (Trey) Shrock (2023, Appomattox, VA) uncorked on a loud double during the first inning, driving it over the right fielders head. Flashing a heavy barrel with a lofted stroke, Shrock ambushed a fastball, wasting no time during his at-bat.
Atticus Solomons (2024, Monmouth Junction, NJ) drove in the first two runs of the game, lining a single over the first baseman’s head, brining in two runners. A whole field approach with a line drive swing plane, the Jersey native can spray the ball around the field with developing feel for the barrel.
Logan Frazier (2023, Linthicum, MD) clubbed a 2-out double for the red squad, showcasing the pull side power he briefly flashed during BP, turning on an inside fastball, keeping his hands inside the ball well.
Landon Scott (2022, Mechanicsville, VA) punched a fastball the other way, motoring into third for a hustle triple. Displaying his athleticism, Scott busted it out of the box, showing off his speed beating the throw from the right fielder. Showcasing barrel control with the ability to hit the ball hard to all fields.
Cooper Artley (2023, York Haven, PA) worked an efficient two innings of work. Showcasing an electric arm as he worked his fastball up to 89 mph a handful of times, sitting in the mid-80’s. Generating a lot of swing and misses with a heavy fastball, Artley worked in all four quadrants, flashing a developing breaking ball.
Donavan Johnson (2025, Newtown, VA) brought home two with an RBI-single back up the middle. Ambushing the first pitch, Johnson continues to display feel for the barrel, working through the middle of the field well with a consistent swing plane.
Justin Polanco (2023, Bronx, NY) banged a double off the right field fence, continuing to display juice to the pull side. A quick, compact stroke from the left-side, Polanco is continuing to develop barrel control, but he is on time there is no doubt he can jump the yard.
Richie DeLaCruz (2023, Knoxville, TN) ripped an RBI-single into right, for a loud barrel that echoed throughout the stadium. A lofted, left-handed stroke, the Tennessee native squared up a fastball, showing the ability to lift the ball through the pull side.
