Tournament Pitching Rules
Pitch Counts – 95 (Daily Max) 1-30 (0 Days Rest) 31-35 (1 Day) 36-50 (2 Days) 51-65 (3 Days)

Once a pitcher reaches his daily maximum limit, he must be removed from the game. If a pitcher reaches the maximum limit of pitches in a game during a batter’s plate appearance, the pitcher may continue in the game until such plate appearance or the inning ends (i.e. by a third out made by catching a runner stealing), whichever comes first. There is no team penalty for this, but the pitcher must adhere to prescribed pitch counts for the remainder of the event.

If a pitcher is brought into a game sooner than the mandatory calendar days’ rest, he becomes an ineligible player. According to NFHS Rule 3.1.1: An ineligible player on defense shall be replaced immediately upon discovery by the umpire or either team. Once discovered by teams, umpires, or PG Staff, the umpire & Official Scorekeeper will confirm eligibility with Tournament Headquarters. If deemed ineligible, team will have the opportunity to remove player from game. The replacement pitcher will be allowed adequate time to warm up.

No pitcher is allowed to pitch 3 days in a row regardless of pitch counts.

Event Information

Coaches Meeting – Monday, August 22, 2022 at 7:00 at Hook-n-Reel Restaurant – 7480 West Colonial Dr. Orlando, FL 32818

For the regular season & first two rounds of playoffs, each team will be responsible for supplying three game balls before each game. Three dozen baseballs will be supplied to each team once league fee is paid.

Regular season starts Monday, September 5th and ends December 2nd. Playoff tournament date is December 5th - 8th.

All-Star games will be played December 13th & 14st. The Final 4 coaches, if available, will coach the All-Star games.

NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED AT ANYTIME AFTER PAYMENT. TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR WILL HOLD A CREDIT TO A FUTURE EVENT IF NOTICE OF CANCELLATION IS GIVEN AT LEAST 3 WEEKS PRIOR.

14 League Games followed by Single Elimination Playoffs. Top 16 teams make the playoffs.

Results are what count...

Perfect Game set a new record for the tenth consecutive year following the 2011 MLB draft. Of the 1,530 players selected, 1,323 had attended a Perfect Game event, and 294 of the first 331 picks were Perfect Game alumni. Many of these alumni had participated in multiple Perfect Game tournaments, showcases and/or leagues.

In the past ten years, 9,073 Perfect Game participants have been chosen in the MLB First-Year Player Draft. However, these figures do not account for the many Latin American free agents who participate in Perfect Game showcases and tournaments and then sign with Major League clubs. One can only imagine how many Perfect Game alumni will ultimately reach their dream of playing Major League Baseball down the road.

Perfect Game does not take any credit for the numerous outstanding players selected in the draft or the many more who go on to play college baseball. Perfect Game simply provides talented players a means to be identified and evaluated closely while competing with and against the best worldwide. Perfect Game identifies players, provides an opinion, and then lets Major League scouts and college coaches form their own.

MLB scouts and college coaches make the most important decisions, and luckily, they follow what we do very closely - not only in person, but online as well.
