Ryan Bakes (2023, Algonquin, Ill.) has been a standout at the plate so far at Kernels, with a 3-for-3 performance that included a a home run blasted well over the left field fence and a double. A sound, fundamental defensive catcher with the footwork and arm strength to help control the run game. Will no doubt make an impact on both sides of the baseball at the next level.
