Berths Earned:

Caribbean Regional Champions: IBAHS Knights Prime

The Knights went a perfect 5-0 to win the Caribbean Regionals this past January.  The team based out of Ceiba, Puerto Rico is loaded with offensive firepower that scored 52 runs over the five tournament games.

Four Corners Regional Champions: BPA Demarini Elite

BPA Demarini finished off an impressive tournament in Las Vegas by defeating the Dback Baseball Club in the championship game by the score of 8-0.  Known as one of the nation’s top teams, we hope the club will be able to make the trip to Charleston to compete in the National Championship.

South Texas Region: Banditos Black

A dominant organization out of Tomball, TX, the Banditos Black 12u will represent South Texas in the PG Super25 National Championships.  Recently featured on the cover of Baseball Youth Magazine, the team will be a force to be reckoned with in Charleston.

Projected Berths:

*Based on teams expected to participate in the upcoming tournaments

California State Regional: San Diego Stars

Central Regional: Advanced Baseball Academy

Based out of Overland Park, KS, this development academy produces high-level teams with focus on the fundamentals.  Their youth program has continued to grow over the past few years with good clubs at all ages.

Coastal Regional: VA Mariners Baseball

The Mariners have already won three different tournaments in 2014, and they will look to continue this success in the PG Super25.  A 4-2 victory over the Tidewater Drillers earned the Mariners the title at the Spring Slugfest two weekends ago.

Deep South Regional: South Central Select

While the team is based out of Pace, FL, they traveled to the neighboring Deep South Qualifier this past fall and put on an impressive showing.  Beating the PSA Sox Red by the score of 10-4 earned them the championship, and they should be a team to watch going forward.

Florida State Regional: Silver Hawks 12u

The team unity for the Silver Hawks is shown by the fact that some of their players have been teammates since they were five years old.  This chemistry has led to several tournament championships over the last two seasons, the most recent being the GSA Border Wars on February 22-23.

Georgia Regional: Home Plate Vandy

After finishing 2013 as Baseball Youth’s #12 ranked team in the nation, Home Plate Vandy looks to build off that success in route to the PG Super25.  They are off to a hot start in 2014 with a 13-3 record.

Great Lakes Regional: Rhino Baseball

While they are a new organization, Rhino Baseball has already started to make a name for themselves in the Great Lakes Region.  This 12u team is expected to be one of their best clubs and will be fun to watch in the upcoming events.

Mid-Atlantic Regional: Delaware Vipers

The Knights were victorious in the highly competitive North Florida Qualifier on March 15th and 16th.  They defeated Florida Select in the championship game, while also winning games over the Orlando Stingers Orange and QBA Knights.

NorCal Regional: Zoots Team Mammo

Known for sending H.S. players to Oregon State, UCLA, and other Pac 12 powers, the Zoots organization also has very strong teams at the youth ages.  The 12u team won the Presidents Day Super NIT at Twin Creeks going 6-0 and outscoring teams 57-8.

North Texas Regional: Texas Stix

The Stix were given the #1 spot in the 12u PG Super25 North Texas Regional Rankings, based on past performance and expectations for the 2014 season.  This past weekend, they lived up to the hype by going 5-0 at the highly competitive Texas State Qualifier.  The Stix defeated the Dallas Tigers and Texas Show in route to the championship.

Ohio Valley Regional: Diamond Boys

The Diamond Boys, who were named to the PG Super25 Organization of the Year Watch List, was founded in 1996 and operate out of Hudson, OH.  The season is young, but the 12u team has shown a lot of promise going 3-0 to start the campaign.  They can swing the bats, scoring 42 total runs over those first three games.

Pacific Northwest Regional: Baseball Northwest

This organization has been a mainstay at PG events and looks to continue to grow within the PG Super25 tournament series.  They are expected to field a highly competitive team from the Pacific Northwest.

SoCal Regional: San Diego Show

South Florida Regional: SWFL Starz

The Starz have been together as a team for three years now, proving themselves as one of the top clubs in Florida.  This past fall, the team went undefeated en route to winning the Tampa West Coast Fall Ball League and they have also been champions of many recent tournaments.

Texas State Regional: Waco Storm Nationals

Impressive play has backed up their team’s #2 ranking in the PG Super25 North Texas 12u rankings.  The Storm went 2-0 in a rain shortened Texas State Qualifier, but a 5 to 1 victory over the Dallas Tigers Woods 12u showed that the team is worthy of their ranking and will be making a run for the National Championships.

Midwest Super Regional: Midland Indians

A member of the Midland organization that has had over 350 players drafted, the Indians are a tough team out of Cincinnati, OH.  Last season, they were the champions of the highly competitive Southwest Ohio League.

South Super Regional: Dallas Tigers

The Tigers have strong teams at all age groups and the 12u group is not an exception.  In the 2013 and 2014 PG Super25 tournaments, the Tigers are always at the top of the pool standings and competing for the championship.

West Super Regional: Predators Baseball

This team out of Nogales, AZ is back to back Winter Nationals Champions.  Over the past three seasons they have compiled an impressive resume of tournament championships and quality wins that shows promise for their efforts in the PG Super25.

Northeast Super Regional: Tri-State Arsenal Blue

The Tri-State Arsenal is another well-known program in the High School ages, but their youth teams are right up there with the best as well.  This team has played in the past two Mid-Atlantic qualifiers, advancing to the playoffs in both events.

Southeast Super Regional: EAB

One of the top “Majors” teams in Georgia, East Atlanta Baseball were champions of the 2013 Fall State tournament while also competing in the Georgia Majors NIT.  Along with the PG Super25, EAB will be competing in the 2014 Perfect Game BCS Finals.
