Perfect Game Junior Olympic Team

The Perfect Game team in the Jupiter Junior Olympics finished in second place. While not winning the championship game, it’s hard to argue against the PG team having the most talent. In addition to sponsoring a team in the Junior Olympics Perfect Game scouted both events in Jupiter, FL and Tucson, AZ. 16 of the 18 players who were selected to represent the Youth National Team have been to Perfect Game events. 19 out of the 20 on the USA Junior National Team have been to Perfect Game events. Former Perfect Game players accounted for 19 of the 20 on the USA National Team roster, comprised of college players.

6 of the above players were invited to the trials for the Youth National team. Two of the best 05 prospects in America are Justin Upton and Chris Dominguez who were not among the finalist due to age regulations. Jeremy Hellickson and Mark Ortega made the Youth National team and Hellickson went 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA in the World Championship. He threw a nine inning gem against Cuba to get USA into the championship game against the home team Chinese Taipei. Former Perfect Game standouts, Justin Bristow and Jarred Bogany led the team in hitting. Bristow was named the MVP of the tournament and Hellickson was certainly the top pitcher in the World Championship.
