Perfect Game Shatters The Record for Draft Picks

Baseball is all about results?€?. Can anyone compare to these results?

Over 350 Perfect Game Showcase players were selected in the June Major League draft. This annihilates the record for most draft picks ever from one organization!

B.J. Upton                           Zach Greinke                      Chris Gruler

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There were 32 Perfect Game high school players picked in the first two rounds, including 6 of the first 8 players selected. #1 was a college pitcher. This does not count the many PG Latin American and other players who signed free agent or D&F contracts over the last year totaling over 6 million dollars.

The 2001 PG National had 11 first-rounders and 6 more selected in the second round.

The PG/BA World Wood Bat also had 11 first round picks and 14 second round selections.

PG players accounted for over half the high school players drafted in all 50 rounds.

Denard Span                      Prince Fielder                        Scott Kazmir

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

PG players accounted for over 80% of those selected in the first 15 rounds.

PG players will be on virtually every Division One college roster once again next year.

56 former PG players are on the 8 teams in Omaha at the College World Series.

In 2001 a record 240 PG players were drafted and PG claimed 2002 would be even better. In 2002 over 350 PG players were drafted.

2003 will be even better!!!
