2014 Top Prospects

Griffin Helms (C, 2014, Duluth, GA) Strong compact player who looks like a middle linebacker on the field. Had a great showing this weekend running the second fastest time for the Academic Showcase to go along with the best pop time. Helms has good extension at the plate with good bat speed and makes hard contact.

Evan Dougherty (OF, 2014, Ft. Myers, FL) Athletic frame with a solid build with a strong arm in the outfield with a quick release plays through the ball and has good footwork. At the plate Dougherty has a line drive swing plane with good bat speed and gets good extension.

Brandon Etheridge (INF, 2014, Cartersville, GA) Athletic Outfielder with great arm strength that makes online accurate throws and has good footwork. At the plate Etheridge has a slightly open stance with good bat speed and makes solid consistent contact at the plate.
