Vermont State-by-State List

The harsh reality is that Vermont is devoid of draftable talent and it has been this way for quite some time now. The state has had one player drafted in total over the last five years, and that player was Joseph Serafin in the 37th round in 2009.

The University of Vermont disbanded their baseball program in 2009, leaving the state without a Division I program. And, given the harsh winters and abbreviated springs the state endures, it’s obviously very difficult to cultivate powerful high school programs, let alone high caliber draft prospects.
