The Perfect Game WWBA 17U Championships are underway in Marietta, Ga., and the first day, as usual, was filled with plenty of excitement, and of course, some jitters from some of the players in attendance.

In our quest to breakdown some of the top performances each day from the tournament, here's an inside look at some key players throughout the day that also happen to be commitments or signees with Division I programs.

Here's our inside look at Friday's WWBA 17U action.

Marucci Elite 10, Rawlings Total Performance Elite 0

* LSU 2013 commitment Jared Poche worked in the win over the Rawlings club. He was consistently 83-87 with his fastball, 66-69 with his curveball and was 70-72 with his slider. Poche showed good command, a quick arm and displayed maximum effort. Appeared to be a polished pitcher with a heavy fastball. Poche struck out seven batters and allowed just one hit in four shutout frames.
