UCLA is one of the more unique teams in college baseball.

The Bruins have the nation’s best one-two punch on the weekend with starting pitchers Trevor Bauer and Gerrit Cole leading the charge. Yet, they aren’t ranked and have had issues establishing consistency.

Should the Bruins put all the pieces together in the postseason, they’re a legitimate national contender. However, it remains to be seen if that is possible with an offense that is incredibly spotty at times.

While the Bruins headline our list of teams on the cusp of our rankings, they aren’t the only Pac-10 team on the list. Other Pac-10 clubs we breakdown include Stanford, California and Arizona.
