Top Prospect List

.) Pierce Trumper, RHP, Rocky Mountain HS, CO-With a fastball that touched 91, Pierce has quickly become one of the top pitching prospects in his class. He shows good pitchability and at times featured a sharp slider. Pierce is also a solid shortstop that will have the chance to play both ways at the next level.

.) Wendell Soto, MIF, Riverview HS, FL-A true baseball player in every sense of the word, Wendell has everything you look for in a middle infielder. He is very smooth defensively with soft hands and a strong arm. Wendell showed the ability to drive the ball hard from both sides of the plate and profiles very well as a top of the order run producer. His game compares favorably to Rolando Gomez who went to the Angels in the 10th Round of the 2008 MLB Draft.

.) Jacob Felts, C, Orangefield HS, TX-A strong physical catching prospect, Jacob has the tools to be one of the top catchers in his class. He is an aggressive hitter that shows very good bat speed and big raw power potential. Defensively he is very sound where he is a good receiver with a big arm.

.) Trent Miller, C/OF, St. James Academy, MO-A strong and athletic catcher, Trent’s arm strength is his top tool where he threw 92 from the outfield and 80 from behind the plate during the workout. He has a short quick hitting stroke and projects to show good raw power at the plate.

.) Blake Austin, C, Landmark Christian HS, GA-Blake is a player that will draw the attention of many over the next few years after throwing 83 during workout behind the plate and popping a 1.78. He has good raw hitting tools to work with and projects to show good power down the road.

.) Jace Statum, OF, Orangefield HS, TX-Jace is a top-notch all-around player that shows five-tool ability in the outfield. At the plate Jace is a very advanced hitter for his age showing lots of pop and power to all fields. He runs well (6.75 sixty) with smooth outfield actions and should rate out as a plus defender in the future.

.) Tito Nava, RHP, Cherry Creek HS, CO-Another top pitching prospect out of Colorado, Tito showed a loose easy arm action that produced a fastball up to 89. Tito has an athletic delivery and shows good pitchability with a tight downer curveball.

.) Dominic Jose, OF, American Heritage HS, FL-A 2011 prospect with 6.76 sixty speed, Dominic has the ability to potentially be a five-tool prospect down the road. He has quick hands and is short to the ball from the left side of the plate. Dominic makes consistent hard contact and could project at every outfield position.

.) Khalfani Mar’Na, OF, Lafayette HS, MO-A 2011 prospect, Khalfani posted the fastest sixty at 6.67 and will be one of the fastest players in the country come his senior year. He has a quick bat and the ball really jumps on contact. Khalfani will be a highest-level prospect that could attract plenty of draft attention by his senior year.

.) Myles Jaye, SS/RHP, Starr’s Mills HS, GA-A solid two-way prospect, Myles shows good potential as an infielder and on the mound. He is switch-hitter with highest-level tools from both sides, while also showing solid infield actions. On the mound his arm works well and showed a fastball up to 86 with a tight 11 to 5 curveball.
