Perfect Game High School will be releasing Top 25 Regional Rankings every Friday in addition to the Tuesday National Top 50 Rankings. Here are is schedule for release:
Northeast (PA, NJ, NY, CT, RI, MA, VT, NH, ME)-Week of April 25-May 2
Northwest (WA, OR, ID, AK) April 25-May 2
Please Note: Our National Top 50 rankings are released every Tuesday and are reflective of games through Monday, while our Regional Rankings are released every Friday and are reflective of games through Thursday. Results of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday games are taken into account in Regional Rankings that are not reflected in National Rankings.
Florida
Flanagan remains in the top spot in our last Regional Rankings before District tournaments start on Monday. Archbishop McCarthy and Orangewood Christian each moved up a spot to #2 and #3, while Gulliver Prep fell to #4. Tampa Jesuit remained at #5, while Bishop Verot climbed one spot to #6.
Pace and West Boca each made a four spot leap up to 7 and 8, respectively, while Jupiter jumped up five to #10, Park Vista fell to #9.
This week features three new teams with Winter Haven coming in a #16, while IMG Academies is #19 and Southwest (Miami) comes in at #21.

Great Plains
Lawrence Free State (KS) debuts in the top spot with a 10-1 record and the best pitching staff in the region, headlined by lefty Cody Kukuk. The Firebirds are followed by Rock Bridge (MO) and 9-0 Maize (KS). Another pair of Missouri teams, Staley and Parkway South round out the top five.
Francis Howell comes in a #6 in spite of a recent slump thanks to a very good overall body of work this season. The top ranked team in Minnesota is #9 Maple Grove who is off to a great start at 7-0. In a surprising development, the top ranked team from Colorado is #13 Ponderosa, as a lot of parity among the top teams in the state and disappointing starts by traditional powerhouses has bunched up a lot of contenders toward the top of the standings.
Millard South is the top team in Nebraska, coming in at #11.Mason City looks to be the best team in Iowa when the season begins this summer, they come in at #21.

Mid-Atlantic
Two schools each from North Carolina and South Carolina lead this week’s rankings. Ardrey Kell (NC) maintains their stranglehold on the top spot, while Wren (SC) remains at #2. Pinecrest (NC) and St. James (SC) each jump up one spot to three and four.
Virginia schools James River and Cosby sit at 5 and 8, sandwiching a couple of North Carolina schools (Providence and Holly Springs). Undefeated Sherwood is highest ranked team in Maryland, coming in at #14. West Virginia and Delaware do not have teams in the rankings this week with Martinsburg (WV) and Middletown (DE) dropping out.
Four new teams enter, three of them hailing from Virginia. James Island (SC) is #18, with undefeated South County, Westfield, and York in at 21, 23, and 25

Midwest
Nine Illinois teams highlight the first Midwest Regional Rankings, led by #1 Providence Catholic. Indiana schools Cathedral and Lawrence Central are #2 and #4. They face off Saturday in our National High School Game of the Week. Walsh Jesuit (OH) is #3 and Plainfield North is #4.
Along with Cathedral and Lawrence, two other Indiana teams are featured in undefeated #11 Lake Central and #16 Bloomington South.
Ohio has five teams total, with Michigan placing three led by #15 Brother Rice, and Kentucky has four with St. Xavier in at #6.

Pacific
Big shakeup at the top this week as powerhouses Edison and St. Francis both lost this week, allowing Bishop Amat to ascend to the top spot. The Lancers have now won 20 games in a row and are one of the best teams in the nation. Edison falls to 2nd while JSerra moves up to #3 after extending their winning streak to eleven.
Cathedral Catholic made a big move all the way up to #5 after winning the San Diego Lions tournament. Camarillo and Santiago enter the rankings for the first time this season, coming in a #24 and 25 respectively.

Southeast
The top seven teams remain the same from last week, with Marist taking over #2 and Madison Central falling a spot to #3. Georgia teams Wayne County and Columbus come in at four and five, with Farragut (TN) at six and Sumrall (MS), seven.
Notre Dame (LA) who entered the Top 50 National Rankings this week is up seven spots to #8, Ringgold (GA) and Thomson (GA) round out the top ten.
Spalding (GA) makes the highest debut at #14. Other new additions are #23 Houston (TN), #24 Cartersville (GA), and #25 Northwest Rankin (MS). Athens (AL) returns to the rankings at #20.

Southwest
Spanish Fork (UT) remained on top of Southwest Regional Top 25, though undefeated Sierra Vista (NV), who comes at #2 made it a difficult decision with a 7-0 week to move to 26-0 on the season.
The biggest change comes from Arizona, where Mountain Pointe jumped up five spots from #10 to #5 after a big week that was highlighted by a very impressive 11-1 win over previously 5th ranked Hamilton and plenty of power from Kevin Cron. The Pride are the 2nd ranked team in the state, as Mesquite managed to hang onto the #4 spot by a slim margin.
New additions this week include Scottsdale, AZ rivals Desert Mountain and Chaparral who fill out the final two spots.

Texahoma
Owasso and Broken Arrow maintained the top two spots in the region as they have all season. Clements remains the top team in Texas at #3 in the region while Brenham, CC Carroll and Sharyland each moved up a spot to 4, 5 and 6 respectively. The Woodlands slipped to #7 with their first loss since March 10th. Lamar's 3-0 week allowed them to climb all the way up to #8, with St. Pius X and Rockwall-Heath rounding out the top 10.
Lufkin makes their debut at #22 this week following a huge win over The Woodlands as playing a very tough schedule is paying dividends for the 16-8 Panthers. SB Memorial gets back into the top 25 thanks to torrid hitting by C Wayne Taylor.
