There would be a huge celebration in Nashville, Tenn., if a midseason national champion were crowned, as top-ranked Vanderbilt is putting together a campaign that has us expecting it to win the national title in June.
As great as Vanderbilt and others around the country have been this spring, others such as Connecticut, Clemson and Auburn have disappointed at the midseason mark.
