STOCKTON, Calif. – There’s still time to request an invitation to the Northern California Showcase, which will be held this weekend (Nov. 6-7) at Banner Island Ballpark in Stockton.

This showcase is intended for high school players who will graduate in 2011, 2012, 2013 or 2014, and players from all four classes have enrolled in the event.

It’s easy to request an invitation. Simply go to the Perfect Game home page at www.PerfectGame.org, find the list of upcoming showcases, go to the Northern California Showcase and click on Get Invite. It’s as simple as that.

The players will be coming from a five-state area that includes California, Nevada, Montana, Utah and Washington.

Mitchell Kranson, a third baseman and catcher from Danville, Calif., should be one of the top players at the showcase this weekend. He plays for NorCal Baseball and is in the Class of 2012.
