16u WWBA Scout Notes: Day 1

Cy Longley (2026, Brentwood, Tenn.) had himself a day to remember at the dish. He’s a right-handed hitter who made the most of every trip to the plate, belting 3 home runs in as many at-bats on the day. He lifts the leg and strides to it from an upright stance. He turns and lifts well with the ability to leverage. There’s an obvious feel to produce strength off the barrel. He creates separation well and has a well-put-together stroke. Longley had 3 bombs on the day with some really impressive swings for his Tennessee Baseball Academy squad. Longley will certainly remember this day. Hopefully, he can keep it up this week as the WWBA National Championship continues.
