17u WWBA South Championship Scout Notes: Days 1-3





Michael Plummer (2023, Monroe, La.) is a two-way talent to keep tabs on. Though the outcome was not what he may have hoped for, there is a big left-handed arm tool to project on. Team Louisiana Abernathy showed off a loaded lineup of quiet prospects and Plummer was an intriguing piece to it on both sides of the game. He lit the gun up to 90 in his short stint on the mound, the arm works very well from the left side with control of the athletic 6-foot-1, 210-pound frame. He mixed a tight-action slider up to 74 with late bite as well.
