Ambushing the first pitch he saw for the weekend, Ceph Christie (2023, Washington, D.C.) missed a home run my mere feet, rolling into second with a standup double. Standing at 5-foot-8, Christie packs a punch from his compact frame. A quick, line drive swing plane, getting the barrel out to the point of contact well, Christie showed the ability to lift the ball through the middle of the field. With some twitchiness in his actions and present quickness to his hands, the uncommitted D.C. native flashed juice to the gaps that will only improve as he fills out his frame.
