17u WWBA South Scout Notes: Days 1-3





Easton Ballard (2022, Longview, Texas) is currently listed as the No. 21 left-handed pitcher in Texas and went five strong frames showing off great feel for the mound. He put up an impressive eight-strikeout outing only allowing two walks. Ballard is a high-waisted 6-foot-1 frame with a loose arm. The arm action is longer in the back that works quick and uses the long levers well getting extended to the plate. He shows knowledge of repeating his operation and can spin. The secondary offerings worked very well for strikes. The delivery is fluid with a projectable build. He was up to 87, mixing clean.
