Could be another new record in the draft for PG!

Last year’s record 1.164 draft picks that had played in PG events could be in jeopardy. After the first 30 rounds (921 Picks) we have confirmed at least 715 draft picks that attended PG events. That is about 78% of all those drafted. Last year’s record was 77.4% of all draft picks, so we are slightly ahead of last year, before entering the final 20 rounds.

We don’t add them just because we scout and rank them. If we did that, we could claim nearly every draft pick. Only if they actually attend a PG event do we add them to the draft totals.

The first round is always one of the best rounds for PG. Take a look at this year’s first and supplemental first round. 30 of the 32 first round picks have attended a PG event. Most have attended multiple PG events.

Of the top 111 picks (first 3 rounds) 39 have attended the PG National Showcase. 22 former Aflac All Americans were selected in the first three rounds. 33 former Aflac All Americans went in the first 5 rounds. The numbers that have played in the WWBA tournaments in Marietta Georgia and the WWBA World Championship in Jupiter Florida is astounding.

97 of 111 in the first three rounds played at PG Events. That is well over 87% of the first three rounds. Most of those players were at multiple PG events. We also scouted many of these same players at East Coast Pro, Area Codes, USA Baseball and other top events.
