Perfect Game Softball gets underway in a big way this weekend in the Midwest as 103 teams will participate at various venues across Kansas and Missouri. The Greater Kansas City area will play host to almost 60 clubs. Another 28 clubs will play in the St. Louis Metro area and Topeka, Kan. will host a strong 17-team field.

Lake Shawnee and Bettis Sports Park in Topeka will host a very competitive field across three different age groups (10U, 12U, 14U) in the Grip It and Rip It tournament, with action set to begin at both venues at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Adair Park in Independence, Mo. will see a strong 12U field battle it out in the Dick’s Sporting Goods - Super 48 tournament that also gets going on Saturday at 9:00 a.m.

The KC Diamond Divas tournament will see action taking place at three different locations. The winners at each competition level - 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U-A, and 14U-B - will also receive automatic paid entries to the PG World Series that will be held from July 20-24 in Shawnee, Kan.

Both the 12U and 14U-B levels will play their games at the Field of Dreams in Basehor, Kan. These two competitive age groups will see their games also begin at 9:00 a.m. The 14U-A games will be played at Markey Park, in Belton, Mo., with games slated to begin at 9:00 a.m., also.

The Angels 4 Autism tourney will be played in St. Charles, Mo., where 28 clubs will participate across three different age groups. McNair Park in St. Charles will play host to the 14U division, where action will kick off on Friday evening at 6:00 p.m. The 16U and 18U age groups will play their games at Wapelhorst Park, also in St. Charles. Like the 14U division, the 16Us and 18Us will start their games on Friday at 6:00 p.m.

The Midwest region, headquartered in metropolitan Kansas City, will see great action across numerous age groups during the 2021 spring/summer season. Perfect Game, long recognized as the world’s largest and most comprehensive scouting organization, will use their widely acclaimed platform to enthusiastically promote the fastpitch game around the country.
