It was another very busy week in the world of JUCO baseball, and for the first time in well over a month, we have a new No. 1 team. With Central Arizona splitting a pair of doubleheaders with Yavapai and Arizona Western to finish the week 2-2, Walters State has ascended to the No. 1 spot for the first time this season. They had an idle week with cancellations, but at 37-1 and wholly dominant thus far, they are surely worthy of the No. 1 spot.

Wabash Valley moves up a spot to No. 2 overall following another loud week, while Crowder - currently riding a 25-game win streak - jumps a pair of spots to No. 3 overall, their highest billing of the season thus far. LSU-Eunice holds steady at No. 4, and Eastern Oklahoma State enters the top-five for the first time this spring at No. 5.

Rounding out the top-10, Johnson County climbs to No. 6 overall at 31-1, while San Jac jumps up a pair of spots to No. 7 overall, their highest rank of the season. Central Arizona slides to No. 8 following that aforementioned 2-2 week. Iowa Western at No. 9 and Cowley at No. 10 round out the top-10 - both of whom find themselves in their highest-ranked positions of the season.

Other notable movers in the Top 25 include Florence Darlington at No. 11, as they jumped four spots and continue to run through everyone on the East Coast. Lansing jumps nine spots this week in a massive leap to No. 12, they are 19-1 and are not having many issues thus far. Chipola and Northwest Florida split a four-game series last week, so we felt it appropriate to leave them in their previous spots as a result. We welcome newcomers Catawba Valley at No. 23 as well as Potomac State at No. 25 - this is the first time in my tenure of covering JUCO baseball that Potomac State has been ranked by PG, so kudos to them for a fantastic season so far.
