Fall World Series Notes: Day 1 & 2

The Richmond Braves 14U National brought a loaded roster to Florida for the PG 14U Fall World Series. Luke Keefer (2024 North East, MD) ran his fastball up to 82 mph in two clean innings on the bump. He also smoked a triple that got over the left fielders head and got to the wall. In his second game of the event, he went a perfect 3-for-3 and is making a huge statement in the early going. He is super athletic with a 6-foot-1, 165 pound frame that just looks the part. He can play all over the field but has all the ingredients to be a short stop, long term.

Brevin Bezick (2024 Red Bank, NJ) is really filling out his 6-foot frame since we last saw him. He looks strong and is moving better than ever. He turned on a fastball during the Braves game on Friday night that resulted in a double. He is patient and has a mature approach, but it is the left-handed power potential that continues to stand out.
