18U World Series Scout Notes: Days 1 & 2

Dylan Carmouche (2020 Denham Springs, La.) got the start on the mound for the Louisiana Nationals. The long left-hander sat 86-89 mph while touching 90 mph from a higher three-quarters arm slot. The Mississippi State commit also showed the ability to drop down to more of a side arm look with a fastball that sat in the low 80’s. He also showed a breaking ball from both arm slots with a curveball from the higher three-quarters slot that showed some depth, and a slider from the lower slot with more of a sweeping break. His high leg kick helps get his backside involved as he gets good use of it driving down the mound.
