Louisville commit, Kyle Crow (2023 Fenton, Mich.), got the start in the second round of the playoffs and made some noise. The righthanded arm shows a high waist with an athletic build, showing plenty of room to fill out down the road. He works with repeatable mechanics as he delivers from a three-quarter slot. His fastball had big time life as he ran it up to 90 mph and then sat in the mid 80’s after that. His curveball was far advanced as it showed 10-5 movement. The breaking ball was a legit swing and miss pitch as he tunneled it well and had pinpoint command. He ended his outing with seven punchouts while going four innings, helping to put his team in a position to win and advance deeper into bracket play. Crow projects in a big way on the mound. Look for him to throw very hard one day. He will be in talks when his time comes for the draft as he shows all the talent already at this point in his young prep career.
